Store and Sort - Giant Yellow Minifig Head - Any Good?

I try to sort by similar colors, but it never works.

I have my faction colors sorted into bags, a shoe box for pieces that could be good for building, a drawer for Bionix, a drawer with still unsorted Legos and a bag with larger less used pieces and baseplates

I mostly sort bricks by colour, but I've also got trays that contain the bricks I use for space ironclads, river gunboats, wheeled vehicles & etc.
Somethings like tiles, baseplates, cones and grates I sort separately and just now I've started sorting anything hinged in a category of its own.
