You approach the heap of junk and clamber onto it, to start sifting through. Alec stands, watching the burrow.
She': 6: She' tugs what looks like a length of scrap out of a desk. "Huh." Examining it, he presses a button on it's casing. Nothing appears to happen. [XP gains now limited to combat]
Knolli starts to feel an uncomfortable heat on his side. Looking up at She', he blinks. The apature on the end of the piece of scrap is pointed directly at him and glowing bright orange. She' looks confused.
Roll To Dodge!
Knolli: 3: Knolli throws himself to the side, his labcoat bursting into flames. He dives to the floor, rolling to put out the fire, as a patch of floor behind him melts. She' blinks and turns the device off. [2 Damage]
She' looted a Thermal Projecter.
Knolli: 6: Knolli pats the rest of the charred coat off, emmiting a slight amount of smoke. He looks at the base of the pile, and then steps forward to open a cabinet. A padded suit of guard's armor and a shielded helmet drop onto the floor from the door off their hangers.

Fenix moves back into the newly-illuminated halls, looking around for something interesting. He opens a door to what appears to be a locker room, flicking on the lightswitch. A few three-legged creatures on the ground spin around. Fenix brings his gun up.
Fenix: 3: *BANG* The others hear the shot echo down the hall. One of the things takes a bullet to it's side as it skitters towards Fenix. It rolls onto it's side as the other two hiss, doubling their pace, and springing for Fenix's chest.
Roll To Dodge!
Fenix: 3 Fenix dodges out of the doorway. The two beasts land in the hall, spinning around towards him. Fenix ends up with his back against the end of the hall, ducking as the second one leaps. It slams into the wall and Fenix twists, with his back now in the corner.
