After Silva burninates any enemies on the other side of the door, run in yelling and screaming and chop down any enemies that are left.

I will fry anything in the door, living, dead, hostile or ally. Can't take chances with the peach virus.
This sig is too fucking large: show anyway
Re: Commandos part 1: Wake-Up Call
Follow the others in and shoot any enemies.

Silent, please post / send your orders. For any of the commandos who haven't sent them I'll rely on the Commander's guidelines...

Use the hyena and various soldiers to eliminate the Assyrians. Preferably with the rockets. The infantry should only fire after the commandos do. Have one soldier guard the entrance. Alonso should aim and pick off one attacker

Re: Commandos part 1: Wake-Up Call
Round 2
Private Scratch (Heavy)

You wisely pick up the OTC for later use.

As you leave you're under the impression you saw the Conquistadore's mangled corpse shift... must just be your imagination.

You enter the herbal room, and address your commander. "Permission to speak freely, sir?"
"Permission granted."
"This room is rather small, sir. Perhaps it would be more opportune to use your OTC on the door."
Commander Thesson

"Acknowledged, private."
Your OTC rips through the reinforced titanium door, leaving little of it whole so that it'll only take a nudge to fall over.

You suddenly spot movement from the corner of your eye. You scream as you are pulled into the air by the closest plant, which tries to squish you like a bug, but luckily fails. As you are pulled into the air, you lose control over your OTC.
Private Silverdream (Flamer)

The remaining two plants reach for you, but you withstand both their attempts to grab you as their attempts to hurt you, partially by using your flamethrower as a random object in defence.

You proceed to torch the both of them.
Private lawmaster (Melee Specialist)

You brave the flames and take down the final plant with two quick swings of your powerblades, freeing your commander from its grasp.
Private Zuppon (Berserker)

Screaming and yelling, you crash through the remains of the door.

You spot the data core you were sent to collect! You believe there's a noise further up the corridor but you can't make out exactly what it is as the moans you heard before are much louder now, the sound is coming from...

... right next to you. A test subject is bound there. Awakened by the smell of blood, the moaning monster is trying to escape, so far to no avail.
Corporal Falk (Engineer)

You follow inside and raise your gun, ready to shoot anything hostile that pops around the corner.
Lab mutants

You barely remember who you are, or where you are. All that stands out clearly is the excruciating pain in your body and your mind, and the urge to kill these intruders. They look like former allies, perhaps, but you can't quite grasp that thought for more than a moment... Your ears catch the scuttling sound of many feet approaching through the side corridors, ah yes, your friends are near...
Outside...
Assyrians
(In order not to make things too easy, the Assyrians got another round, as they had the element of surprise)

The Assyrians combine fire with their plasma launchers on the Hyena, which takes a fierce hit, losing 2 SP in the process.

They aren't fools, and get into better cover.

Private Cytheran - Minigunner

You bravely put yourself in the line of fire and approach, minigun blazing. Your Assyrian foe is hit and knocked back, but not quite dead yet.
Private Kalvinator - Sniper

You get into cover and try to finish off the fallen soldier, but completely miss your shot.
Alonso's Squad - Silent-Sigfig

One of the heavy troopers secures the door. Anything hostile to come through those doors will receive a faceful of minigun.

The other two approach the hill, spraying bullets.

Their shots skid the ground right in front of the Assyrians, barely missing.

The Hyena decides to take revenge and fires a burst missile... but the pilot crit fails.

Alonso suffers the same fate. No luck for the Inquistadores thus far.

Zupponn: Kill that monstrosity.
Silva: Go up to the data and guard Lawmaster
Lawmaster: Grab the data. Also thanks for helping me out!

I will shoot the corpse of the soldier in the light of the contaminated subject being discovered, and move to provide covering fire/melee as one of my team secures the core.

Finish off the Assyrians, let the two commandos outdoor shoot first. Demand a status report from the general, let him know that if I don't hear a report I will blow the entrance

Also I think in my better interest I should give a FULL report to Alonso.
Re: Commandos part 1: Wake-Up Call (Round 2 done)
If they takedown the hyena I'll climb on top of it to get a better shot at the Assyrians if not kill that fallen down asshole.
