A nation called Denmark had been building up arms for centuries and had fleets that were commanded by the descendants of Vikings. Canada, now independent from Great Britain had decided to expand it 's borders to secure a future staging point for another war against Europe. Denmark used every last ship and elite soldier to defend Hans island, but it fell to the Canadian war machine.
