I'd say so. Dieselpunk is supposed to be gritty post WW stuff. I think most of the DP stuff I've seen is more 1950s but I understand it can go back to the 20s. I gather its really any period of time in there that isn't WWI or WWII. Tricky genre, though, because I've seen art and fiction labeled DP that is set during the world wars. Still, a defining feature would appear to be gritty representations of romantic technologies in the early 1900s. Rocketpacks, biplanes, zeppelins, the first commercial airliners, tanks, gasmasks, and the like.
