if most of the people prefer it below the picture (as I find most logical)
then why do you want it above?

or why should they then put it above the picture?

Because when below, you saw the picture and you know what happened. Then I skip the writeup itself, when it can contain useful information.

So when it's above, I read what happened and see a photo of the happening.
