The Lux are the BrikHeavenly Host of the BrikVerse, scattered across realspace, watching over and guiding reality with both a subtle grace and an iron fist.  They represent, and eternally protect, the BrikVersian Ideals:  Extreme Ossumness, Fierce Creativity, Glorious Battle, and Unmitigated Fun.  In the beginning, at the advent of creation, the Lux were great in number and powerful beyond measure.  Their ranks swelled not only with those who were born angelic but also with those who underwent spiritual transformation.  In time, however, with the shrinking possibilities for spiritual conversion combined with the low angelic birth rate, they grew much smaller in number and spread more thinly among the stars.  Star Empires arose and the Lux were forced to adapt or go extinct.  They grew canny and clever and learned to maximize their strengths and put them to the most efficient use.  Though this adaptation caused many difficulties along the way (such as the creation of their darker brethren, the Fallen), the Lux have found a way to continue serving the BrikVerse on behalf of the Ultimate Good and to this day continue to protect the Ideals as best as they know how.
