Imperial Magikstrate forces as of October 2015

The Imperial Magikstrate emerged from the ashes of the Uasciri Empire, a once powerful space civilization on the outskirts of what is now known as the Nehellenium Galaxy. Originally known as the the Order of the Magikstrate, it became the Imperial Magikstrate after its spilt from and then fall of the Empire. The Magikstrate specializes in the use of magik and continues to grow in its power and influence. They seek retribution for the fall of the Uasciri Empire.

History

Before the galaxy as we know it today, there once lived a great star civilization known as the Uasciri Empire. The Uaciri drew magikal energies from different types of transparent ore, bending and shaping these elements to do their will. One of the leading mages of the Empire, [Arthur Pendragon], founded the Order of the Mgikstrate, a magikal task force that operated as the inquisitors and law enforcers of the Empire. They amassed the most skilled soldiers, mages, and minds of the Empire. The Uasciri quickly overran several star systems growing into a vast Empire.

In the height of the Empire, Grand Imperial Chancellor Thomas, ruler of the Uasciri Empire, thought it best to stop the military campaign across star nations and focus on things like culture and the arts. These pursuits were trivial to Arthur who sought more magikal power. Arthur and Thomas clashed and their disagreement about the direction of the Uasciri started to fracture the foundations of the strong Empire. The other small Nations surrounding the Empire saw this fracture as their only chance to stop the unstoppable tide that was the Uasciri. Led by Clarence Fang, one of the Noble lords of House Fang of the Planet Draykarus, These small nations started to form the Anit-Uasciri Coalition to stop the Uasciri. They bid their time and waited for the fractures to deepen.

in the Star Year 2004, Grand Imperial Chancellor Thomas gave a speech to his Empire calling for a new age of prosperity and culture. He promptly issued a decree formally disbanding the Order of the Magikstrate. Furious, Arthur took the Order and left the Uasciri Empire, to pursue what he always wanted, magik. As soon as the Magistrate left, the Anti-Uasciri Coalition launched an invasion of the newly crippled Empire. Thomas was blind to this possibility and now unprepared by the loss of his strongest military asset. Planets and Systems held by the Empire quickly became claimed by the Coalition forces. By the time Arthur got word of the invasion, many of the territories had fallen and the war was brought to the Imperial Capital planet. Although betrayed, Arthur rushed back with the Order to try and fend off the invasion or at least save what was left to be saved.

The invasion had gained too much momentum and the battle was a losing cause. The fighting had taken over the planet right up to the gates of the Imperial Palace. Arthur and the Order fought off the Coalition forces the best they could, but were losing numbers quickly. Arthur and a regiment of mages and soldiers tried to hold the Throne room and protect Thomas until they could be safely evacuated. As they were barricade the doors, Clarence Fang and a group of coalition forces broke through the barricade and into the room. The forces collided with heavy casualties on both sides.

Arthur and Clarence locked energy swords. They clashed back and forth as their heavy strikes echoed above the sounds of laser shots and carnage. Clarence outmaneuvered Arthur, cut off his arm, and pushed him aside, defeated. He then approached the shriveling Chancellor of a once great Empire and held him before the chaos of the throne room. Clarence threw Thomas onto his knees and declared that the Uasciri Empire was no more, and with a swift chop decapitated Thomas.

Arthur laid distraught at his former ruler and friend’s death. Collecting the energy to act. he cried out as he launched himself off the floor with a beam sword in his good hand towards Clarence. The two engaged in more fighting. With the loss of so much blood, Arthur was quickly being overpowered. Seeing the duel as a lost cause, Arthur yelled for a retreat. As what was left of the Order of the Magistrate made their retreat, Arthur did the only thing he thought he could do to ensure the safety of the rest of the Order. With all the life force he had left, he unleashed a cataclysmic amount of magical energy that destroyed the palace and everyone in it.

The Order made its retreat and the Uasciri Empire had fallen. The remnants of the Order turned to Arthur’s son, Ibeus Pendragon, for leadership. Ibeus reforged the Order into The Imperial Magikstrate and has vowed to seek retribution for his father and the fallen empire.

Ibeus Pendragon - Son of Arthur, ruler of the Imperial Magikstrate, and powerful wizard

In search of magikal artifackts across the galaxy, Arthur and the Order of the Magikstrate stumbled upon a vast well of pure light blue translucent energy. Attempting to secure the energy, Arthur tried to use his magikal abilities to channel the well into a magik imbued prism. Although his power was sufficient to tap into the well, the energy quickly overwhelmed Arthur, passing through his body and soul. Upon surviving such surge of energy, two spheres of swirling energy appeared behind Arthur, inside of which were two newborns. The order secured the newborns and left the site of the well, which was now depleted. After any examinations and tests by scientist, doctors, and masters of various arcane arts, it was concluded that the two infants were half Arthur's genetics and half something other-worldy. Arthur saw the opprutunity before him, and decided to raise the children to be powerful wielders of magik. He named the newborn girl Azura, and the boy Ibeus.

Ibeus was raised within the order, which provided various instructors in all forms of academics. He received rigorous training in the arcane arts as well as training in military strategy and political leadership. Arthur provided the best for Ibeus, shaping Ibeus into Arthur's eventual predecessor. Ibeus grew to be a wise leader and extremely powerful wizard, who's mastery over the arcane arts were rivaled by few. Eventually Ibeus rose to the rank of second in command of the Order of the Magikstrate, taking on many of the responsibilities of the day to day while his father became increasingly involved in personal projects.

When the Order broke off from the Uasciri Empire in Star Year 2005, Ibeus' responsibilities and rule over the Order grew tremendously. Arthur, now free of answering to the Emperor, dove head first into his research and obsessions. As he became less and less involved in ruling the Order, Ibeus' influence and leadership grew. Ibeus confronted Arthur about his research and lack of leadership amongst his people, but his father was too obsessed. This continued for months after they had left the Empire, until the Anti-Uasciri-Coalition launched its invasion of the crippled Empire. Once Ibeus and Arthur heard news, Arthur took a garrison of the forces to the capital planet. Ibeus rallied the rest of the Order to protect what they could. Once Ibeus heard of the king and his father's death, he regrouped what remained of the Order and went into hiding. After a decade of rebuilding in the shadows, Ibeus returned to the systems of the old empire with his newly forged and stronger force, The Imperial Magikstrate.
