Possible Future Lego Games

Okay, so a Prince of Persia Lego game would be a game of a Lego set of a movie of a game. Even more lame.

I do agree The Matrix and Terminator Legos would be cool, but they are not possible. There's just too much violence. Speed Racer was made because it wasn't violent. This is a thread about "Possible Future Lego Games," not "Future Lego Games That I Wish They Would Make But Never Will."

in speed racer they hit each other over the head with a pistol - it also features mafia and the thrase "Break his legs and make him walk home." which is too awesome for a violence free film. not to forget all the car crashes and deaths

yes - cars is duplos

Anything is possible except Mr Norris (Mr T + My Little Ponies) learning ninjitsu holding 50 OTC's. Then being awesomeless

You're just grasping. You can't say that Speed Racer is a violent film/cartoon and that The Matrix and Terminator aren't.

1. good thing about sky is theres always something on - i caught speed racer half way

2. im not saying the matrix and terminator - im just saying that Star Wars, Batman, Indiana Jones and Speed Racer are as violent as the matrix and almost as violent as Terminator - whats wrong with the Terminator anyway? All i can recal is the terminators wounds in T2, a punk with a his heart punched out in T1 and a load of guys getting shot. other than that there is nothing else except the sex scenes in T1.

There's a difference between "actual violence" and "implied violence".

In Star Wars, there are huge armies that shoot beams of light at eachother and the guys fall down. Lightsabers hit people and their limbs may or may not stay intact, but it's always tastefully shown even when someone gets beheaded. There's not even blood!

In The Terminator, the T-1000 not only graphically tears people open and shoots and kills several police officers on-screen (with tons of blood), and proceeds to tear his own face open and expose his robotic eye, with blood dripping everywhere, and then goes and stabs himself in the arm to expose his mechanical bits underneath the flesh. It's slightly more graphic.

Actually - the T-1000 is the liquid one in T2 - Arney is a T-800

But still - violence doesn't need to be added into the game does it?

Twilight lego? LOL! Only if there'd be an alternative ending which involves the massacre of the whole cast and the writer too.

The mere fact that it was a Lego game would rule out that possibility.

The point is that Lego won't proceed to have anything at all to do with these franchises. They're just too graphic and violent for children, who just happen to be who Lego mostly caters to. They may be an awesome idea for actual Legos, but there's no way that it's ever going to happen, stop arguing about it.

Think of them all as whether they are family friendly movies. Do you think semi-protective parents would rather show their children Star Wars and Indiana Jones or The Matrix and Terminator?

Yeah, or Saving Private Ryan. Now that film had buckets of blood and guts and a few bits and bobs flying about too. Most kids would probably love it but no parent would allow their kids to see it or allow them to buy a Lego version with added gore. Lego Terminator, Matrix and oh so many more (Aliens) would be awesome in the extreme, to us... but from a sales and PR point of view it would be marketing suicide. So I agree with OneEye here.

Now, I would buy and allow my son to buy Lego SG1 though. Or Lego Star Trek... those would brighten my little corner of the universe no end.

Lego SG-1 would be epic. SG-1 doesn't have a lot of blood and gore (no more than Indiana Jones has), it has a great plot, I can see the Stargates being worked into a lego game, and it has enough action to make it a good game. SG-1 would also be the perfect LEGO theme, too!

And then lego would have to make P-90's, and they'd turn out crappy and have no trigger guards.
