Who says anything about it being in Boston? The fallout folks confirmed that the "Fallout: Shadow of Boston" thing was a hoax by some Russians and wasn't happening.mgb519 wrote:I don't want to see the NCR in Massachusetts. That's inexcusable.
If anything, I think that the town ofDayglow is the best location for a new fallout game. It's a town that's referenced in several fallout games as one of the most developed cities in the NCR, but has never actually been seen. Now I may be biased since it's supposed to be located on the ruins of my hometown of San Diego (often shortened to "daygo" for slang therefore Dayglow), but it's also in a convenient location where the player could theoretically visit the Los Angeles boneyards.
Who knows? Maybe a piece of the Master survived or something and he's back for revenge? It caters to longtime fans while also introducing a completely new world. The town also just-so-happens to be a haven for ghouls and humans to work together, which is a theme ripe for exploitation by any number of bad guys seeking to manipulate that. It even gives a good opportunity to play as a Ghoul!
Holy shit, toppest of keks. I agree that Mothership Zeta blew chunks, but that story almost makes up for it. almost.Zuppon wrote:Hilarious story
