"I am Wulfgar, you are wolf - fight with me!" - cries the frenzied norse, utterly confusing anyone without causing much effect.



He then attacks his fellow norseman, but fails to hit.



'What's with you Wulfgar? The Grizzlies are our enemies!'
"Ah... right. Must've been the heat of battle..."

I apologize if this wasn't clear beforehand, but Wulfgar is allied with the Norse.

Rime Grizzlies - Duerer



Both warriors attack a norseman... and miss!



The basher locks another norse in melee, and deals 1 hp damage to him.

Norsemen - Valiant



Norse take down a warrior with a charge attack and damage the other one (-1 hp).



The other warrior tries to reach the banner, but gets smashed from a counter.

The two surviving norse take out the last rime grizzly together, thus vanquishing them completely.

As the battlefield calms down, Thorbern slowly regains his senses from the beating he just received:



Thorbern: 'Owww... considering I'm still alive we must have won.'
Wulfgar: 'Bah, some champion - not sure what did I expect from the Imperials to begin with.'
Thorbern: '... and you are?'



Norseman #1: 'He is Wulfgar, champion. One of the slayers.'
Thorbern: 'I've heard many tales of them, it's an honor to see one in the flesh.'
Wulfgar: 'Bah, I'll take your compliments when you have shown me your true worth on the battlefield!'
Norseman #2: 'Champion, this was but one of their scouting parties. We expect a larger force to attack the settlement of Nifflewar soon. If they could've secured this pass, they would have had the means to surround the place. Now it's likely they will try to with a full frontal assault.'



Thorbern: 'By the runes, we have no time to waste then! Are you willing to join us in the defense of Nifflewar, Wulfgar?'
Wulfgar: 'How is that a question - I've been waiting for this Storsmältning far too long to let it go past me!'
Thorbern: 'It is settled then - to Nifflewar!'
