Wulfgar engages the bearzerkers and unleashes a flurry of blows - unfortunately this is only enough to wound one of them.

Thorbern and the Norse - Legomc

Thorbern unfortunately fumbles his feat, but still engages in combat with the bears. The rest of the norse take down a basher, others miss.

Rime Grizzlies - Sir Sporktimus

Warriors wound a norse.

Bashers and the other warrior would've smashed the swordmaster into a pulp if not for the shieldmaster's redshirt.

Bearzerkers gang on the last shieldmaster but miss.

Ice belchers all focus on Thorbern, who loses another hitpoint. Note: ice belchers are out of ammo for the rest of the battle.

Wulfgar tosses a shield at a grizzly, which deals 1 hp damage and disrupts it.

Afterwards he kills a bearzerker.

Thorbern and the Norse - Legomc

Thorbern sends off a shockwave which knocks over the icebelchers on their controllers - all end up disrupted, one loses a hitpoint, another one dies.

The rest of the norse miss unfortunately.

Rime Grizzlies - Sir Sporktimus

The grizzlies continue their fierce attack, killing 2 norse.

Wulfgar: 'Withdraw? Are you mad! Norse fight till their dying breath for a glorious death!'
Thorbern: 'If we die now, the citizens of Nifflewar - women and children - will fall prey to the grizzlies! Is this the hero's death you seek Wulfgar? To die in vain and drag innocent lives with you!?'

Thorbern's words hit Wulfgar harder than any weapon or instrument ever could.

This is really an excellent recipe for fast, awesome battles. Out of curiosity, Zahru, what prompted you to give HP points to each unit for these battles?

Smaller scale - there aren't many units involved (due to not having a lot for each faction), early lucky/unlucky turns could yield devastating results in terms of kills, and potentially decide the outcome way too soon. Hit points are an attempt at slowing down the pace of the game (but not by too much) and making fights a bit more tactical. I think a lot of you realized that the best way to overcome this is attacking units 2 or 3 versus 1, which makes sure enough damage goes through (and pushes for overkill damage).

I also misread my hero's ability and thought it was one unit, not one unit type. That cost me some kills for sure
