Actually, I disagree. The plot made it exciting, and we've already talked about the unique factor. Lastly, A futuristic force on Medivo would kill to easily and wreck continuity.
My doctor says I have an obsession with vengance. We'll just see about that
My 550th post was "JANE-FREAKIN-GOODALL".
I called the Ghostbusters in my 600th post.

Go look at Bragg's battles. They're invading using portals, but Medivo's natural harmonics disable any reaction stronger than a coal engine. Spaceships can't get near without crashing.beluga wrote:I think a great idea would be to have some futuristic invaders of a generic faction land/crash on Medivo

Yes, you obviously have a vast knowledge on what would make a great story and have shown us how well you bring those stories to life.beluga wrote:I'm just saying a small break from "serious" business, although I must agree that the plot IS interesting even if some of the battles were necessarily not. Regardless, I cannot wait for Zahru's next batch of epic and what it's going to be like.

Well, I did introduced these small and obscure 'space' agents a.k.a. Immortals, and they had to sacrifice an entire planet to get them on Medivo. So while it is possible to get your troops there, it's only accessible via dark arts and horrendous amount of deaths. And seriously, as a galaktik conqueror, would you give up more (much, much more) to gain less? (ie: wipe out solar systems to take hold on one average planet) And if yes, how'd you get back home and tell everyone about it? Or even survive at the first place when all your hi-tech gadgetry would fail you? (thinking of cyborgs and other implants)I think a great idea would be to have some futuristic invaders of a generic faction land/crash on Medivo
So yeah, it'd be too much of a head and continuity ache to force in actual sy-fy nations. That's the main reason why I came up with the high-tech killer radiation. I wanted Medivo to be part of the brikverse as a whole, but at the same time, keep it at it's own micro-continuity.
tl;dr - nope, never gonna happen. Or at least at the moment that's how I feel.
Although I had a discarded storyline lying around here somewhere of a lost DHSM's pod which was on the planet for a while... *will share/tell if anyone's interested*

This is why I use continuity... You're gonna fall down from the stars one day, and I'm gonna be waiting there below with a silver pike to inflict massive booty bothered
P.S. Please send orders for Fords of Gelron (I'm pretty sure I didn't accidentally delete those)
Besides, Ezra von Brag? I think I'm going to throw up, someone bring me my rifle, away with this monstrosity

Sure, it's like two mad scientists in one! And both personalities are conscious inside (but Brag has his moralities stripped oc)... but I'll leave it to your imagination when and which side is dominant
@RWL: The basic story was titled in my mind as 'SpaceMan'; it was about a DHSM pod that crash lands on Medivo, awakening the (amnesiac by the impact) DHSM inside. Finding his equipment useless and realizing what kind of planet he's on, he makes some scrapmetal gear and heads out to the wilderness of Medivo... he would meet friends and develop into a knight/barbarian character eventually. The SpaceMan fig was a minifig in blue pants and yellow DSM torso (bare chest, the logo would've been a tattoo), and a beardy head with scuffled hair.
