Freedom's Blood (Round 3)

Love the direction you took Mumbles puppetry, very surprised. I also like the ideas you gave me regards the Warhead's sphincter story direction. The head is sort of better is some ways but it means I have an OT ABS head which is kind of awesome.
This battle seems to be going very well. I think in many ways the fantasy stuff is even harder to keep track of than the futuristic stuff.
@Dragon Knights: Cheers Lads! You just saved my Bull Ass. I'll try to support your efforts.

Don't forget about your stray knight (the one that didn't get killed) there at the wall. I know I sure did.
Alejandro's Legion - GeneralOfDeath

These guys descended from the wall.

The spearmen tried to clear the horses, killing a few. The cavalry commander, who had somehow managed to get away from the Bulls, did his part as well.

With a gap cleared, they opened fire...

"Insolence!"
Two of Brockram's knights were killed, but the arrows aimed at him clattered harmlessly off his shield and helmet.

A Bodyguard defied the odds and killed one of Pablo's musketeers in cc with her stave.
Magus Guild - Elmagnifico

The mages keep jamming while the white mage pointed his staff at Grim...

His Bodyguard stepped in front of him, the magic blast too weak to phase him.

The mages on the flyer flew forward and laid down fire on the dangerous-looking types on the wall...

Psycho Dad's hat went flying, but the others didn't even notice the poorly aimed shots.
Urban Guard - FISH!!!

One Urban Guard managed to charge up the wall, the other lagged behind.

Crossbowmen displayed horrible aim.

Sargus charged...

WROAR

*thump* And slipped on the ice. You know, it's not that they have shit ratings, I just always roll for shit for them

Like a devil from a box, the Bloodguard was then upon the Falx.

*cut* They don't call 'em Bloodguard for nothing.

"Yaaa!"

*whoosh*

*splatter*

Scallywags - Ham

"Yarr! Tharr be scurvy rebel-landlubbers me mateys!"

The Bull Elites were gunned down.

The cannon was moved, but it was barely out of range. They could push it further next turn, or wait until a Falx walked into range...

Angryface addressed Alejandro, trying to come up with a remark about his mustache.
"Yarr! Ha-haar... damn."
Unable to come up with anything half past decent, Angryface lost some confidence, resulting in -1 to his rolls next round.
Summoner's Legion - solvess

The water elemental stepped on the fallen warriors, disregarding his own, but didn't manage to crush them.

He then spun... And cut a WDK in half.

The Summoner tried to rectify his mistake... And failed again!
The negative armour mod would remain.

A Telmarine finally proved why they are the Elite, and defeated his adversary.

After having crashed into a heavily-armoured enemy full force, been stepped on by a water elemental and then stabbed with sabres it finally became too much for this Knight. (worst death anyone?)

A guy on the walls was shot down by combined fire from the marines.

The same thing happened to the urban guard on the other side.
Tune in for the conclusion of round 3 tomorrow, some orders for the Purple Mages and Rednecks would be very useful!

what would be worse is if he survived, then flubbed an attack or something and killed himself stupidlyBragallot wrote: After having crashed into a heavily-armoured enemy full force, been stepped on by a water elemental and then stabbed with sabres it finally became too much for this Knight. It is, but if I wait until I have everyone's orders, this will never be finished. Besides fewer people than you think do so, though it may seem so because I segment the rounds most people actually send orders on time. Also, it gives up your chance at initiative so the advantage is kinda canceled out. Btw, I forgot to picture / post Queen Lara's feat (which I did roll out), I'll fix that in the next batch.

I forgot to picture this last go (but it was rolled out): Queen Lara churned out a grinding solo, causing -1 to Grim's Legion's skill.
Back to the epic duel between Xalen and Zahru
Xalen - Silverdream

With a quick move Xalen knocked Zahru into the air with the bottom of his weapon.

He then flew up into the air himself, passing Zahru by even as he sailed higher, drawing his scythe back for a strike...

*slash*

He landed softly...

*thump* "And I thought I'd found a good opponent..."

"I'm not dead yet, this fight is just starting!"
Any normal man wouldn't have survived Xalen's devastating blow, but Zahru stood up, even though he was bleeding heavily. (he lost 2 HP though
Grim's Legion - RunsWithLegos

Grim organized his forces, who moved into two squads again, and had them strike the Bloodguard in their flank.

In a blurring display of martial arts one warrior fell in both squads. The Paladin wouldn't have died if she hadn't crit-failed her defence roll...

Grim shot a mage, but his magic shield saved him. On a sidenote, what happened to the Scallywag's cannon cover fire...?

"Arr! Looks like she be stuck!"

Nope, I just kept rolling 1's...
Purple Mages - NPC

The Archon was mad as hell, and he couldn't take it anymore.
"I'm mad as hell, and I can't take it anymore!"

He cast 'Colossal Rains', rendering all gunpowder weapons (both allied as enemy) on the map useless!
Rednecks - No orders!

Her-ka-derrr!
The Rednecks and Psycho Dad wondered what to do now that their guns had become useless.
