General Croses - Ross_Varn
Croses feints, goading Zahru into a wasted attack (succesful feat that costs Zahru his counter-attack and action).
His last swordsman kills another javelineer.
The general's attack is deftly parried however.
Zahru - Zahru II
All Zahru has left is his feat, and he uses it to swing both of his weapons at once, combining the damage. He hits and gets a lot of crits, up to a whopping 31 damage.
Croses doesn't manage to parry any of the damage, and is incapacitated.
Hitokiri - lawmaster
The Hitokiri start working together to take down the last Falx. The crossbowman tried protecting himself by using his crossbow as a random object, but needless to say he didn't stand a chance.
Croses' last swordsman survives a volley from the Ashigaru, and a melee attack from two sword Ashigaru...
He even withstands Lorreaine's charge.
It took a critically successful feat to finally take him down.
The archer Hitokiri drop their daikyu and attack the halberdier, who defends himself bravely.
He would have actually survived if it wasn't for the firebomber stabbing him from behind. And so the last Falx falls.

Princess Lorreaine: "Nice work, men! Now back through the portal, we must inform the Queen that her path is clear before more Falx arrive!"
Epilogue
Back on the Isle of Westeron, at the other side of the portal...
Queen Lara: "You have cleared a path for my army. You men are all heroes. Lorreaine, gather the army, we're marching through immediately! Fishstache, I'm leaving you supreme command over our forces here. Not a soul may pass through this portal until my return."
Fishstache: "Understood, my queen. What shall we do with the prisoners?"
Queen Lara: "General Croses and that Marshal? I will keep them with my army. Their knowledge on the province we are invading and the forces guarding it will prove invaluable."
Fishstache: "Understood."
Queen Lara: "Zahru, you fought admirably. Will you not join us on our crusade?"
Zahru: "I'm afraid not, your grace. I fought this battle as a favour to the Hitokiri, but now I'm headed up North, to Phineus' Black Citadel. Killing undead is tiresome work. I think the men you dispatched there could use another axe on their side... or three, or four..."
Queen Lara: "Farewell then, warrior, and good luck."
Half an hour later, as Queen Lara's army is passing through the portal...
Princess Lorreaine: "Hey demon."
Fishstache: "What?"
Lorreaine: "Do your job well. I expect to find the kingdom back in one piece when I return."
Fishstache: "You worry too much, princess. No one's going to break it in two..."
An hour later, the water demon leader approaches the Hitokiri garrison as they are resting from the battle...
Fishstache: "You men! We've just received new orders from Knight-Marshal Cales. You are to pack up and return to your own territories."
Hitokiri: "What? We answer to Queen Lara, not Cales."
Fishstache: "I'll have to remind you that Marshal Cales is the Margrave of the North, appointed by your King, and his scouts have just spotted a large contingent of Draklon Raiders heading towards your territories."
Hitokiri: "The Urban Guard will protect them. We have to remain here and make sure no Falx pass through-"
Fishstache: "That's a job me and my boys are more than capable of handling. The Urban Guard can only protect the cities. Do you want your people to become prisoners inside their own homes? Or should we carry out your orders and go deal with the raiders ourselves?"
Hitokiri: "No, that won't be necessary! We're going!"
Some time later, just as the Hitokiri have finished leaving the camp...
Fishstache: "Glad that's over with. Is that the staff they gave you?"
Mage: "Correct."
Fishstache: "Go ahead then. No time to waste."
The mage aims the staff at the portal, and a terrible shrieking noise fills the air as the magic powering the portal appears to be pulled towards the staff.
Soon, the portal becomes drained, looking like no more than an ordinary structure, until suddenly the staff explodes in the mages' hands.
Mage: "Aargh!"
Fishstache: "It is done."
A few hours later...
Fishstache: "Emperor Cales! I didn't expect you to make a personal inspection."
Cales: "This was a much too important phase of the plan to leave unattended. I take it everything went accordingly?"
Fishstache: "The mage died, but that was not unforeseen. The trinket they gave us worked. The portal has been deactivated. Queen Lara is trapped on the other side..."
Cales: "And there's a good chance tampering with the portal as she was traveling through it may have killed her. But what does it matter. She and the Falx can keep fighting each other for all eternity as far as I'm concerned. Half of the Kingdom's forces gone in one blow and our only casualty is one mage! I'll accept such a deal any day. Nice work, general. What about the Hitokiri?"
Fishstache: "They left as soon as I mentioned your name. They're in for a nasty surprise when they get home..."
Cales: "Good work. Now gather your men. Leave only a small unit behind. We have a lot of work to do."
Fishstache: "As you wish... your grace."
