Soon after their serendipitous meeting, the Norse heroes and Blaze arrive to the undead staging grounds...

Valkyr: 'Why are you so eager to join us in death? Never mind - I shall make sure your welcoming party will be as grand as you deserve.'

*the sound of thundering footsteps could be heard*

Thorbern, Champion of the North

1 action per turn
Special: Heroic Ego
Armed with: Heroic Axe (UR3,CC,2d6 damage), Shield (UR2,CC,+1d6AV when parrying), Armor (+2AV)

Norseman
Stats:
1d6 skill
5 inch movement
4 armor
2 hit points
Special: Battle Rage: While Norsemen are in close combat, they gain +1 armor against ranged attacks.
Armed with: Bearded axes (UR2,CC,1d6+1 damage)

Norse Swordmaster
Stats:
1d6+1 skill
5 inch movement
5 armor
2 hit points
Special: Victory Rush: While damaged, this unit has a +1 modifier for each dice roll.
Armed with: Longswords (UR3,CC,1d6+2 damage), Shields (UR2,CC,+1d6AV when parrying)

2. Wulfgar the Slayer - RedRover
Stats:
1d10 skill
7 inch movement
2d6 armor
3 hit points
1 action per turn
Special: Heroic Ego, Extra Action, Preferred Enemy: the controller of this unit can pick an enemy unit at the start of the battle. The hero gains +1 skill when fighting against such units.
Armed with: Dual Heavy Weapons (UR3,CC,1d6+2 damage)

3. Blaze Ironbreaker and Dwarves - Valiant

Blaze Ironbreaker
Stats:
1d10 skill
7 inch movement
2d6 armor
3 hit points
1 action per turn
Special: Heroic Ego, Grudge: when a dwarf dies, the rest swear to avenge him. Thus they receive a grudge point. Grudge points can be used to give the squad a temporary +1 skill/movement/armor for a round.
Armed with: Heroic Axe (UR3, CC, 2d6 damage)

Crimson Guard
Stats:
1d6 skill
5 inch movement
5 armor
2 hit points

Crimsonbeard Officer:
1d6+1 skill
5 inch movement
1d10 armor
2 hit points
Special:
Parries are instant actions. Can redshirt for any friendly unit.
Grudge: when a dwarf dies, the rest swear to avenge him. Thus they receive a grudge point. Grudge points can be used to give the squad a temporary +1 skill/movement/armor for a round.
Armed with bearded axes (UR2, CC, 1d6 damage) and heavy dwarven shields (use 2, 1d10 armor when parrying).

Dwarven Defender
Stats:
1d6+1 skill
6 inch movement
2d10 armor
3 hit points
Armed with: Melee attack (UR3, CC, 1d6+3 damage), Dwarven hand cannon* (UR3, 6 inch range, 1d6+1 explosive damage in a 2 inch radius)
*It has 3 shots, requires external operator.

Oakbraid Dwarf
Stats:
1d6 skill
5 inch movement
4 armor

Teams 1-3. are allied.

4. Rime Grizzlies - brikguy0410

The Valkyr
Stats:
1d10 skill
10 inch movement
2d6 armor
3 hit points
1 action per turn
Special: Heroic Ego, Flyer, Rally of the Damned: this ability can only be used once per battle. It can raise 1d4 fallen units back to life (with 1 hp and distrupted on the turn they are revived).
Armed with: Heavy Halberd (UR4,CC,2d6 damage)

Skeleton Warriors
Stats:
1d6 skill
5 inch movement
4 armor
2 hit points

Ebon Skeleton (officer):
1d6+1 skill
6 inch movement
1d10 armor
2 hit points
Special:
Undying Resolve (immune to fear effects such as ‘fear generator’)
Point Resistance: Skeletal units take 1 less damage from units with bows and crossbows.
Armed with: random weapons (UR2, CC, 1d6+1 damage) and shields (UR2,CC,+1d6AV while parrying).

Rime Grizzly Warrior
Stats:
1d6 skill
5 inch movement
4 armor
2 hit points
Armed with: Jagged swords (UR2,CC,1d6+1 damage)

Rime Grizzly Bearzerker
Stats:
1d6+1 skill
6 inch movement
5 armor
2 hit points
Special:
•Frenzy: The minifig may choose to deliver a flurry of blows instead of a regular swing. Its controller may roll twice for damage after skill check, and deal the combined amount minus 1 of the rolls to the opponent. This wears out the minifig though, replacing its base armor value for 1d6 until the following turn.
Armed with: Frozen weapons (UR3, CC, 1d6+2 damage)

Rime Grizzly Basher
Stats:
1d6+1 skill
6 inch movement
5 armor
2 hit points
Armed with: Frost mace (UR3, CC, 1d6+3 damage), armor (+2 armor).

Ice Belcher
Stats:
No individual skill
Movement equal to the unit pushing it (cannot gain extra mov. via sprinting)
1d10 armor
2 hit points
Armed with: Frost Blast (UR3, 6 inch range, 1d6+2 damage, 3 shots)

Rime Grizzly Alpha
Stats:
1d10 skill
6 inch movement
3d6 armor
3 hit points
Special: Extra Action, War Banner: friendly units within 4 inches gain +1 skill.
Armed with: Melee attacks (UR3, CC, 2d6 damage)

Gameplay:
-Last minifig standing! The battle last as long as one side (read: either players 1-3 combined or player 4) is completely wiped out.

The Valkyr uses magic to bind the Defender in place this turn, freezing the unit in place.

Skeletons charge at the dwarves - the officer loses 1 hp.

Grizzlies charge at the Norse - Wulfgar tries to use a feat as a response but fails, and he is attacked by a bearzerker. No damage is dealt though.

Icebelchers move up but they are not in range yet.

Dwarves - Valiant

The Defender's cannoneer fires but misses. Dwarves fight back, taking out the skeletal officer and wounding another one.

Blaze joins Wulfgar's side and deals 1 damage to the bearzerker.

Thorbern and the Norse - lordintype

Norse advance, those who are in reach attack and deal 1 hp damage to a basher and another bearzerker.

'If you have any sense of courage in your frozen heart, come down and fight us!' - says Thorbern as he attacks, taunting the Valkyr who so far is merely observing the battle.

The norsemen engage and kill a basher as well as damaging one of the ice belchers. Unfortunately a charging norse is taken out by response fire.

Swordmasters join Thorbern but fail to do damage. 'You are a mockery of the Valkyr these people sing victory songs about!' - cries Thorbern to further aggravate the Valkyr.

Rime Grizzlies - Brikguy0410

Bearzerkers use their flurry ability and destroy 2 norsemen. One of the bashers deals 1 hp damage to a swordmaster.

Skeletons fight the dwarves but don't deal enough damage to accomplish much.

Ice belchers hack apart a norse and fire at Thorbern but without causing damage.

The Alpha charges and crushes a swordmaster.

Wulfgar - RedRover

Wulfgar disengages from the fight with the grizzly and leaps over to the dwarves, cleaving down 2 skeletons in the process.

Dwarves - Valiant

The Defender fires, but fails to do enough damage - it starts moving towards the Alpha's direction. Dwarves chip off 1 hp from each remaining skeleton.

Taking advantage of exhaustion, Blaze takes down a bearzerker.
