you're not going to get anything decent under $500, they can go up to the thousands

Fair point, but so are threads about 'brickarms' and 'brick warriors' items, yet neither of them are part of the Armory. Moreover, I get the impression that Brickarmed is just presenting experimentation results with the technology so far and not showcasing something that is signature to his army (as of yet that is).

Ben Heck once made a portable 3D printer, but I don't know how much it costs to make, not to mention youll have to make it yourself.

The one my fathers company has costs like 20.000 kroner. That's almost 4000 US $.

My school has a 3d printer. Maybe, I could use it for my Higher project...

By that, I think you mean attaching Lego to the 3D printed parts. The width of the hole is 3mm, same as the Lego shafts/rods/poles (Lego was made for infinite dick jokes)

That is very interesting. Also, nice work printing such tiny parts. I know 3D printers can be a pain to work with, especially with small, detailled parts like this.

Since your using ABS, you can try acetone vapor to smoothen your finished parts as shown in this video. This will also add more strength to your print but be advised that it will likely reduce the overall dimension of your printed parts a little bit.

And, Syd, I'll have a look at that video.
