G2's warmachines

Post by G2 » Thu Jul 15, 2010 9:16 pm

Hello All

Here are some of my warmachines. Some of the designs have been inspired by other builders.

Here are some LCad renderings of what I intend on building. Some of the cad models are not finished yet, and are still WIP. I want to share them with you anyway.

You are spot on. That is exactly what I am going for. I have a few more designs, but I will reveal them later. I really like the clunkiness of WW1 combined with steam-punk. I can not wait until I build these guys using REAL lego, and then gaming with them.

That's awesome you've gotten comfortable with LCad. This is some cool stuff! I'm guessing the tank isn't finished but it's a great WIP, my favorite of the bunch.

Here is an early steam tank model of mine. Some of you may have already seen it.

Here is an even earlier version

This one is a little newer, but I still need to build a real Lego version.

I think it's awesome that you go back to the drawing board with your model. It truly does get better with each version. I can see a big improvement on the steam engine with all the detailing. Keep it up!

I love steampunk, would you mind if I follow your style for some of this? Your pics start out at jaw droppingly amazing and keep on increasing by a magnitude of awesome that has left me paralysed. I, like you can't wait to see these built. The two that have been built, Phenomenal!

Wow. An entire army of awesome steampunk vehicles? These are so amazing I don't know where to start. I can't wait to see the real LEGO versions.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Yes it has been a while since I have been on these forums, but I am back now. I will post more pictures of, both real and CAD designs. Once I get some of my Lego factions sorted out, I will post some pictures and some background fluff as well. Stay tuned for more.

Thanks again.
