Anyways, recently I've been getting back into Lego, but due to the current state of my collection (crated and stowed after a move to the distant mountains) I've been unable to put anything new together with actual bricks.
Instead, I've been amusing myself with the Lego Digital Designer, so I'm gonna throw myself upon the mercy of the court, and hope you guys accept screenshots from that in lieu of actual MOC's. I do plan on uploading some photos of what units I can dig out or build anew, so consider these Rendered MOC's to be more of a rendition of my "dream" army, compared to what I have and can do right now.
but boy oh boy, once I get a job and start making some money
Anyways, format is overview picture, gallery link, then description. Just to keep it nit-and-tiddy.

UNITS:
-------------------------------------------

http://www.nottarga.com/commanderevil/d ... ego/Gadfly
First up, we have the Gadfly Heavy Gunship. With two giant engines, missile pods, and a bunch of guns strapped on, this baby could take on just about anything, in and out of atmosphere. It serves as a multirole fighter and ground support craft. I also made a little ground crew for it, including a loaderbot (Expect to see that robot re-used, but with different arms), an ammo trolley, and one of those guys who waves those light batons around. Not much else to say about this, other than pity the poor bastard who gets in between a Loaderbot and its duty. Those claws aren't just made for liftin'.

http://www.nottarga.com/commanderevil/d ... otbreakers
Next up, we have two Riotbreaker Squads, with their APC's.
These guys would be considered the first line of defense for the military police. Armed with Riot Batons, Blaster Carbines (they're inside the APC, you can see them in one of the open-door pictures), and Riot Shields, these guys are the first line of defense for the Military Police. They travel in squads of Four Breakers, one Officer (Armed with a shotgun and Command/Control Pack), and with a squad of Manhacks to scout ahead for them. If you've played Half Life 2, you know what Manhacks are. If you didn't, Manhacks are flying buzzsaw robots.
As for the APC's, they're mainly intended to ram down barriers and get the Riotbreakers to where they're needed most, with only a cupola-mounted Autogun to defend them. To compensate for lack of weaponry, they're more armored than most other APC's, with the added bonus of letting them ram into the sides of buildings without doing more than scratching paint.

http://www.nottarga.com/commanderevil/d ... go/AUTOPAT
These are Autonomous Patrol Units, or AUTOPATs for short. They're basically just an armored Robotic Police Car. They're programmed to chase down speeding non-police vehicles, and if properly equipped, to shred any that won't stop with gunfire. Their AI's also tend to enjoy hit-and-run tactics in the most literal manner, often going out of their way to hit pedestrians, enemy soldiers, or anything that looks softer than the police car. Gallery has some pictures of the interior as well so you can see the robot.

HEROES:
-------------------------------------------
General Daniel Hiller, Chief of the Civil Arm of the Military Police. (The cops and Riot Troops)
He's basically the clear-cut archtype of the Bitter Police Chief. He's also a trained gunslinger, and can dual-wield revolvers because of it. He resents the Martial Arm of the Military Police because while he leads the Cannon Fodder Riot Troops and Plainclothes Officers to their mass-deaths, the big bad Military Supersoldiers bag all the glory for just running over protestors with tanks, or burning out slums with flamethrowers.
-------------------------------------------
Detective Bailey
Even in the grim, dark, fascist police state-controlled future, there are Detectives, and Detective Elijah Bailey is one of the best. Although he usually sells his services to the people of the City, occasionally he's called in to help the Civil Arm of the Military Police. He's an old friend of General Hiller, both having served together back in the days before the City became a Police State. They now have a sort of friendly rivalry going.
Detective Bailey is armed with an old 1911 Pistol, and a Steel Lighter. He can use it to either smoke his cigarettes to look more awesome, or wave in the face of people he's interrogating.
I'd like to get him a Trenchcoat to go over the Indiana Jones getup, we'll see what I can come up with I guess.
-------------------------------------------
The General
Not much personal information is known about The General, as he's commonly known. He's in charge of the Martial Arm of the Military Police, and looks down on the other branches, seeing as his men are called in to handle problems too big for the Civil Branch. What he lacks in special weaponry, he makes up for in stealth and theatrics, often appearing out of nowhere in the midst of a raging battle to deliver a vital blow, then disappearing with a flourish of his cape, a flashbang grenade, and maniacal laughter distorted through his Vocorder Mask.
He's armed with a standard Blaster Carbine, Flashbang Grenades that stun all units around him for one turn, and a stealth camo-cape that allows him to creep around undetected, at the cost of his action for that turn.
-------------------------------------------
Anyways, I'll go digging through my crates tomorrow and see if I can rustle up some of my older units, and take some decent pictures of them.
I'll also start working on their backstory, since it's pretty bland so far:
Big Bad Police State. With robots. Yee-haw.
