Once entirely farmland, the planet of Zugkraftsburg has been thoroughly converted into a planet sized vault, beneath its surface, tunnels extend for thousands of miles down into the mantle, where just above the outer core, resides vaults built to house entire armies. Specifically, a reserve force of Third Alliance troops. Numbering near a billion, lives in this self sustaining environment. Built as a joint project between the nations of the TA, over the course of years, this is part of the final stratagem for the event of an ultimate TA defeat.
Should this threat not be addressed in the early stages of the battle, it is possible forces, and more worryingly, super weapons, will be moved from the vaults, and beyond NATO’s reach, using the single space elevator that hooks up the planet to orbit. Should NATO control this, it will have complete control over what can transit into orbit from the vaults below.

Welcome! To the battle of Skylark Elevator. This will be a points battle, with the two allied forces fighting to secure their teams objectives, alongside each factions own, more self orientated goals. Let’s look at the public objectives.
Third Alliance
-50 points for each Transport that successfully to egress the battle-zone. There are 7 transports total, making for a maximum of 350 points available.
-100 Points for either A) Destroying all NATO vessels or B) Having more TA vessels than NATO vessels at the End of the battle.
NATO
-50 points for each Transport that successfully destroyed. Transports cannot be destroyed while docked, and under that stations shield. Any transport that is succesfully boarded, and captured and held until the end of the game is worth 100 points, TA vessels cannot open fire on captured vessels. There are 7 transports total, making for a maximum of 700 points available, presuming all are captured.
-100 Points for either A) Destroying all AN vessels or B) Having more NATO vessels than TA vessels at the End of the battle.
On top of this, each faction shall have their own secret objective PM’d to them, worth a variable amount of points (to balance available points to both teams). This objective may be at odds with the good of the group, but will earn points towards them regardless.
At the end of each turn, 1D2 transports shall undock from the station, and proceed towards the transport gate at 4 UT (32 studs) per turn. Should they reach the gate at the end of there movement, (movement occurs after shooting) they instantly leave the battlefield. The gate itself is a super conductor, shielded, any attacks against it will fail.

From this post going live, there will be a 72 hour grace period for people to claim there factions. should they fail to, I will assign there group to another player on the same team, who will give orders for them until the factions owner claims them, or designates someone else to play them.
We will be playing by Epik Space V.0.1.X, a game so in development, it doesn't actually exist. to give a quick TL;DR of this rule set. Weapons have infinite range, but get bonuses/penalties depending on the distance. Vessels shoot before moving. Also, most importantly, this system is squad based, you may notice vessels are bunched into squads, each player can only use 1 squad per turn. (+ All Fighters), so as such should specify which squad they want to use that turn(should be easiest for people with dreads), specify its shooting at a single enemy squadron (rather than a specific vessel, freighters and dreads not withstanding), then its movement. Also, the games two dreads, both come with Doomsday weapons. They can only be used from turn 5 onwards, but provide a one use instant-kill attack on any entire squadron they choose to shoot at.
That should be all the information you need for now, orders should only be sent when all slots are filled, and you've received your objectives. As a note, I will be undergoing the move to University in under 2 weeks, and starting the course just over a week later. Hopefully it'll settle and I'll have a weekly slot for this, but it may get a little bumpy update wise. Regardless, more pics!
