The beige karpet stretches on in its multi-dimensional vastness.

Somewhere on it, the souls of 13 DSM lie, unconscious.

Slowly, one DSM rises.
"Lrdofbriks, we have failed you!"
He takes a look around.
"This isn't the
Vengeance..."

The DSM, awakened by his call, slowly get up and brush themselves off.
Flecks of beige carpet whirl through the wasteland.

"Roll call!"
After a careful tally, it is discovered that 10 of the DSM belong to the fallen
Azure Guard, and the other 2 are from the fight on the
Hyperion.

Suddenly, a flash of light in the distance.
"Look there!" A DSM shouts.

A maelstrom of fire erupts from the ground, and a demonic form arises...
"Welcome..." it growls, "I am Satan, master of hell. All of you are lost souls, displaced from your earthly bodies by DEATH. I come to-"

"Actually, I'm pretty sure you're Hehl, a lesser demon," a DSM says, consulting his HUD.
"Google says so... Oh hey it also says you had
cleaning duty here at the beige carpet 4 cycles ago. Damn that's a lot of blood..."

"SILENCE!" Hehl roars, "I am almost tempted to damn you for your insolence. But despite your lack of respect, I am offering you a deal."
"I hold your 12 souls in my demonic claws. I could cast you to the pit, or... I can give you a second chance. Your physical bodies are wasting away, some of you the victims of the zombie plague, others just dead due to plain bad fighting skills. All of you are a disgrace to the DSM empire."
"However, I can transplant your souls into the bodies of 12 minifigures currently held in stasis. If you redeem yourselves in battle, by causing massive amounts of chaos and destruction, your DSM powers and strength will return to you. Otherwise, you will be cursed to remain normal minifigs, stranded in your weak bodies."

The DSM consult briefly using their intercoms.
"We accept."

A fiery grin spreads across Hehl's face.
"Then begone... Enjoy your new bodies."

Hehl recedes into the carpet, the fire slowly dwindling away.
"Wait," one DSM says, "Weren't there 13 of us to begin with...?"

The question falls on deaf ears... there is no one in the karpet to answer.
