Oh man! Didn't even think of using them as zombies! That's a great idea.

I like them fancy bases, they're just ideal for individual characters.

I think the army men will look much better with yellow heads and hands. But buying them just to try that? I don't know. Someone please do it now.

what do you say now !
Thanks. They do look alot better just as i had thought. With non-green weapos+equipment they will make a good generic present time army. Which can then be slaughtered mercilessly by Deadly Spacemen and such.

If you're not into Metal you are not my friend!

Not too bad but I wonder how they might look with tan legs? Better or worse? You'd have to get proper looking WWII M1 Rifles and thomsons though, BrickArms?

I think they'd look okay with tan legs. It is the regular green, not the sand green though.

The original sets had those guns too, but Steven Spielberg changed them to radios.

Yeah, OneEye but it might still work to make 'em look like G.I's.
Spielberg was just thinking of the kiddies in that age old over the top worry about lame shit way Americans have that has infected the world and it can all kiss my health and safety executive Mr Throbber, the one eyed spelunker.

I got my hair cut yesterday and on the way back I figured I would swing by Walmart. But they didnt have any yet.
They are in the process of moving the Lego section even further. Its now on the outside left wall in the back. Someone hasnt been paying their bribe money.

Yea, I pretty much only have Wal-Marts for buying Lego around here. There's one Target WAY out of the way and a Toys 'R Us even farther out of the way. All the Wal-Marts have really been lacking more than usual lately in the Lego department.

Target has been losing space of their Lego section as well...
Get this. Over the holidays I was at Target and was walking through their Lego section. HALF THE LEGO WAS REPLACED WITH HALO MEGABLOCKS.

I need to see if Target recovered since then.

My target barely devoted two slots of shelfspace to the Megacrap Halopants.

It also still has an entire aisle entirely composed of Lego-y goodness, although Star Wars was heavily depleted by the Yule shopping orgy.

I got 2 packs of them, I love them so much this is the army builder I have always wanted.
In fact I have an idea, I need to go get all my UFO parts and have the Army men vs. the mars mother ship. The government covered up the real battle and thats why it needs to be retold with Legos
