I just don't get it. Everyone around here is so greedy about getting their hands on some Lego and suddenly they find unopened sets? I just find it weird...stubby wrote:Oh boy, you don't want to see my Lego room then. Well, I used to go to the Lego store alot, (I work 10 mins away from one) and I would buy some cheap sets that were on sale for the parts and thrown them on the side until I needed them. But the Star Destoryer was different, I actuallly got 2 of them one I built (and then parted out) the other (which is in a great condition box) I decied to save for later. I probably might sell it later on if or when Lego stops making starwars sets.BFenix wrote:I just don't get it. I went to the Lego Store a couple days ago, and bought three Manta Warriors and another collectable minifig (Space Alien). Mantas were $2.00 each, and the store has a shelf filled with only those. ^_^
Also, Prince of Persia really did do badly. The store was still packed with its sets, even after two weeks and 50% off!

Well, I'm drooling in anticipation of what you're going to build with them.
Darth got that set five years ago on his birthday. He never touched it besides opening the box- I guess he thought it was too "complicated".
Also- oh god no Page 100's first post is a shitgoat.

Target was clearancing off all of their Prince of Persia sets today; got the Battle of Alamut for $40, and Quest against Time for $25, though I'm broke, so the parental units are holding it over my head until my birthday.
I also found this
in the Manly Santa Day clearance under a stack of candy. 40 cents, at 90% off.
