Thanks for the instructions, J+B-- I see that Lego hasn't changed their formula very much from the last batch of STAPs they put out, save the odd piece and color. That's about what I expected.

@Oneeye-- Oh yeah, you've missed out on a lot of really good stuff-- Strong Bad's 200th email, the Poopsmith breaking his vow of silence, and Homestar hijacking Strong Bad's email program!

Yesterday, I struggled out in the pissing rain during my lunch break (missing my lunch I might add) just to get Mini-Warhead these...

We made them together last night, his Lego building is coming on.

...We got the same sets as Magic Soap, it was a newspaper token special deal. We have another one on route though that we sent away for. AND there is a £100 order coming from Pick A Brick. All in all, not such a bad dad and a good start to the holiday weekend.

That's great Magic. Um, we got two for one. We bought the tokens with the paper and by a quirk of circumstances (my wife being rushed into hospital last week, she's fine and it's not relevant here) we ended up with one set gratis from the fantastic people of the Monklands Hospital and their WH Smith shop staff and we still had the tokens so sent them away too. Mini-Warhead had, had an upsetting time due to all this so I thought some Lego thesnuggly would be the ticket. It certainly worked for me.

I just brought a Pirates Kraken Attacken (dumb name, but cool little set)
And a small bricklink order, 8 gray castle corners, a staircase, 2x 16x24 green plates, 1x 16x16 plate and a raised 16x16.
And some magnets and neon green stick thingees to complete a second hand M-tron set I picked up. Oh, and also a mint boxed old Stock car set (late 80's)

actually thats quite a bit of loot. . . .

Thanks, yeah that gif tickled my fancy.

Mini-Warhead is now eight and getting into Lego building something fierce. It's all he wants for Manly Santa Day this year. We don't even bother with pocket money any more. All he wants to do is spend it on Lego when he gets it, so now he does chores (no bitching about home work, help around the house and doing as he's told, that sort of thing) to earn the right to buy Lego kits each fortnight or so depending on how big the kit is. He's desperate to get on here, which was my intention when I joined, until I saw what you guys where like that is. Now he's banned from here. Mostly because of the stuff I post, ironic much.

I include myself in that "we". And if you don't think there's something wrong with us here, that young children shouldn't be exposed to then you've been here too long. Young Teenagers are fine, their angst and know it all attitude combines with their know nothing ignorance to form a shield of indifference that protects them. Mostly.

Yesterday I bought Ambush in Cairo, my first set with peaches. They're just as ugly as I thought they'd be. But the other stuff in this set makes up for it. You get Indy's hat, whip, and purse, a turban, a ninja mask, long black hair, a golden plate, two apples and two bucket backpacks. And a submachine gun.
