I loved the Macross Valkyrie set. I would have bought 3 for each transformation mode. And probably a 4th Roy Focker custom.

Ugh - BBT is like a minstrel show about outdated misconceptions of "nerd culture".

And yet when I proposed a Fallout theme, they told me it was too "bleak", "violent", and "full of despair".
BBT is also full of adult themes. Sex, alcohol, comic books, etc.

[Curmudgeoney old-geezer voice] "Oh yesh, those darned comic books, destroying the innocence of today's youth, with their flamboyant costumes, face-punching, skintight short-shorts, satanic sorcery..."
Have you read any recent comics? They got rid of the fun and replaced it with grimdark bullshit.

I just hate the Big Bang Theory since it's not really smart or funny, but people treat it like it is. Oh, dude with Autism said carbon nanotubes, this show is so clever.

Also I was compared to Sheldon a lot in High School by one of my teachers.
This sig is too fucking large: show anyway

I'm not a big fan of any sitcom, nowadays...

@topic: The bird set, on the other hand, looks actually pretty nice. I'd like to see, how it will turn out.

I do like the bird sets, they are clever, and not like the normal stuff (i.e branded things made lego....) you get on the fan-sets lineup. Talking of which:

My god, I've finally found a group of more than 2 people who can't see why the Big Gang B- Theory if funny. I've tried telling my obsessed aquaintances what Silva has concluded here, but it's surprisingly hard to convince people that "Oh, dude with Autism said carbon nanotubes" isn't funny when they're decided that all the people in the live audience find it funny, so they will too.

I tend to immediately unfriend anyone who likes Big Bang Theory. "Minstrel show" is actually the best description I've seen so far.

All I know about BBT is that one cast member is apparently anti-vaccination despite being a scientist in real life or something like that.

I wonder if it shelfwarms to death - I know it will over here, we still can't get rid of ghostbuster and BTTF cars or the exo-suit due to lack of demand.

I think the reason fan-sets do so well is that there's a large, built-in group group of people who will vote for it, and a large market of people who will likely buy it. It's why I'm certain that Dr. Who sets are inevitable. Though I find the irony in making creative building sets of one of the most stagnate franchises in existence hilarious.

Try looking up one of the "BBT minus laugh track" vidoes on youtube. It's a lot easier to spot a bad joke when the laugh track isn't there to trigger whatever instinctual reflex makes you laugh along with them instead of thinking.

God damn it Lego, and here I was already mulling over the idea of getting the MTT!

When I asked one friend how they could put up with getting deafening laughter forced at them at every turn, he replied "I like it, it means you know when you should be laughing." I didn't need a prompt to laugh at that.

I didn't know Zahru sells Lego. I guess you could wait a few years and start selling those kind of "exclusive" sets on the internet, assuming they'd be boxed, peppermint condition etc you'd get them sold either pretty quickly or for a good price.
