It's more about childhood wish-fulfillment, but I am slowly building up a little town display (though as of now it's only 'vehicles on road baseplates'), which might see some action in the future.

Did some color-matching and I should get a second flag for the boat sometimes this week.

Got a Logitech G400 gaming mouse. It's pretty okay.

I've got those ladders from a really similar firetruck set mounted on the side of a halftrack and they're the most useful brikwars utility item I've ever fielded. Park the halftrack by anything, let the troops inside set up the ladder, and begin the siege!

Got a bunch of random parts in the past two days, mostly to help restore some old childhood sets to their former glory.

Pretty fantastic, right? So the story is my colleague has had these since he was a kid. They were in storage under plastic. When he found out I collected LEGO he let me teach him the basics of Brikwars, but he never really got into the game. Middle of last year he asks me to help him sell them to make money for a disaster relief trip. I post the sets a couple places, but he's never too jazzed about the offers. A little later, I jump in feet first and raise about 2,400.00 USD for him. Because he says the trip would have been way under budget without my fundraising, he says 'thank you' by releasing the above collection to me.

Wow, that is one impressive haul! Quite a bit more than i got (for money!) last summer. I know how that feels. And soon, Zahru and to a lesser extent Bragallot will know as well. ;-)

Honestly, all I really wanted from him (and I offered to pay!) was the Dragon Master and Black Knight sets. I may try to find a brikwarrior to give a good home to the Crusaders; this is a lot of Lego and probably more than I'll get use out of.

Wouldn't the crusaders be great for giving your Leoncor faction a few more guys though? And having a bunch of outlaws to mess stuff up is never a bad thing in my book ;)
