Re: The official LOOT topic
I got all the parts for 8 of those insects... almost.
I fogot to order the parts that join the pincers to the head and legs to the torso.
Despite this, they still look really cool and I think I captured the feeling of a massed insect assault,
I can imagine them swarming over peaches and tearing them apart from all directions in a death Frenzy.
I'm going to Latvia for 3 weeks, so It'll be about a month and a quarter before you guys actually get to see them once I've ordered the parts and they
arrive.
I also got the parts to complete 2 Special forces troops for the phalek empire, They look so so so so so cool(In my eyes).
I'll get pictures tomorrow, I have pressing matters this evening.

This is why I always carry a knife.TastySkippy123 wrote:I recently purchased the Firefighter and Police sea starter sets, and I came across something startling ...
They got rid of the thumb thing on back of box and now they open sideways with some tape holding it shut!!! Now little inpatient kids(like myself) can't open there Lego kits until they get home!!! I am disappointed at Lego for this, I think the reason they did was so kids couldn't easily open them in stores...but I am still annoyed![]()
Your views on this please?? I would post pics, but the box's were ruined

Watch out Lego...Gungnir wrote:This is why I always carry a knife.
That is a good idea, sadly we have super strict nanny state laws down here when it comes to anything like a 'knife', so we wouldn't be 'allowed' to carry such things around stores. But you probably keep it in the car...right?

It's cardboard and tape. A key or pen, or even fingernails work fine. Or just peel off the tape. I mean yeah the thumb tab made it easier to open, but it's not rocket science.

Well I was complaining because you can't use the box to store the bricks in while you are building it anymore, I don't think it makes it any more difficult.aoffan23 wrote:It's cardboard and tape. Are you a caveman or something? Just rip one of the ends open like you're at Shadowscythe's birthday party.TastySkippy123 wrote:Well I was complaining because you can't use the box to store the bricks in while you are building it anymore, I don't think it makes it any more difficult.aoffan23 wrote:It's cardboard and tape.
