Little bit of everything really. Not much of it translated as directly from concept to final product as the KK stuff though. Like a lot of the characters in the collectible minifigs line were pulled from my pitches for other playthemes, for instance. And by contrast, the Lego orcs that ended up in the Castle theme were originally from the pitch for the collectible minifigures. So that was the most common thing, my work ended up in product lines I wouldn't necessarily have predicted.

I'll probably start posting a bunch of the Lego Universe stuff now that it's out, and the collectible figures pitch now that most of my figures have been revealed, next time I update the website.
Did you work on Ninjago?

The bandolier torso looks even better in person. Jake Raine is one of the best minfigs designed in quite a while. If you're going to get any Pharaoh's Quest set, this is easily the one. I only regret buying the two Manta Warriors instead of picking up more of these.

And thanks for noticing the legs; I'm just fixed it up. ^_^

I think they should allude to the Adventurer's line with this new Pharaoh's Quest thing. Lego keeps redoing the old themes over again in a new way, but they should have more things that go back to the old sets like they did with Space Police. It would have been awesome to see an Aquaraiders skeleton in the Atlantis sets or something of the like.

This is one of those questions that doesn't have a simple yes or no answer, and in this case I can't tell you the reasons why the answer isn't simple, and so you'll just have to wonder forever. :mystery:

The Pharaoh's Quest does allude to Adventurers in a couple ways. The web site has a page noting that Jake Raine just got back from an adventure in the amazon, and the characters are pretty similar to the previous line. You got Jake Raine as Johnny Thunder, Hale as Charles Lightning, and the mechanic and girl are kind of similar to the pilot and girl in Adventurers.

I got a look at all the sets, and my only gripes are that Jake is in almost every set (Which isn't a big problem, but I thought the plane would have a different character), and there's few other characters and accessories in each set. But it's not too bad; the prices are generally better than other sets, and the Jake Raine figure is very versatile for military figs.

You can only get them at Lego stores and possibly Toys R' Us (From what I've heard) at the moment. I got really lucky and got mine right after the store stocked them- the displays were packed with Pharaoh's Quest sets.

You forgot in your arrogance to state that you mean only in an American Toys'R'Us or Lego shop... bunch of bastards.

I'm hoping to go check out my local T'R'U to see if they sent them to Canada too, just because we're right next to America. If they have, I will have many scarabs.

That's not much of an allusion. I mean more along the lines of having pieces, villains, and characters in the actual sets. Space Police did the Classic Space statue, Blacktron torsos, etc. It would be cool to see a set with the old mummy in it or a brick that had an image on it akin to Johnny Thunder or something.

I would've loved to see a picture of Jake and Johnny together, that would've been pretty cool.
