Nega-Blox HELO Knights?

It took a lot of work though, the knobs that hold on MB heads are too small for Lego heads. I had to do some creative modification with electrical tape to keep the heads from falling off.
As a side note, I think electrical tape is the duct tape of Lego modification. It's easily removable, leaves no adhesive gunk, and is just the right amount of squishy that you can fit Lego bits to it without it having to necessarily be the right shape.

Yeah, it's the Blitzen, distinguished Owner of the English Language, only if you use it on torsos it will after a while remove the decal underneath. If you have decals you WANT removed use a rubber. Rubbers can remove all or even just a small part of decals if you use care.stubby wrote:It took a lot of work though, the knobs that hold on MB heads are too small for Lego heads. Wish I knew that before. Thank you sir.Warhead wrote:Yeah, it's the Blitzen, distinguished Owner of the English Language, only if you use it on torsos it will after a while remove the decal underneath. As for the bloks, the sets are not bad but I think buying lego sets would be a superior way to spend your money... except if you think that lego is trash and plan on buying only maga blok set in the future.
Really? Where?Ross_Varn wrote:Remember the picture Rayhawk posted, the one with the really fat mom and the flamethrower? Those three troopers in front of her had Spartan torsos. Yeah, you can interchange megafigs with minifigs. You wouldn't want to though...Warhead wrote:Are the mega-fig parts especially the equipment interchangeable with Lego?

They look OK, im more interested in if they have any interesting or usefull pieces. a good SNOT brick would be a good one, or a shape that can't be built with lego.
Kerbal Rocketry(my youtube with actual videos on it!)

The reason I mention it is because the hinges are pretty loose, so they'll collapse at all the times when you're trying to get them to hold steady, and the ball joints are often very weak, so the limbs pop off when you're trying to pose them. If the joints and hinges were higher quality then fatfingering them wouldn't be so bad, but as it stands you're liable to destroy something whenever you try to change their poses.Warhead wrote:Remember as Stubby said we must take into account the fat fingerage of these mini-figs.
Well, I bought several of the sets, and I'm happy with them so far. They come with some pretty sweet pieces; especially the Brute Chopper, which is relatively cheap. The chainguns would be a fantastic buy on their own.
So, pros and cons:
Pros:
-The weapons are nice, detailed, and minifig-compatible (for the most part, see Cons).
-Each set comes with at least one or two custom pieces, some of which are really nice.
-The sets tend to be fairly inexpensive.
-The chainguns are in and of themselves a reason to buy at least a couple of these sets.
-Depending on which set you get, some of these come with some nice scorch-mark/bullet-hole stickers.
Cons:
-I have been informed that the megafigs don't count as minifigs. If you are a Lego purist, your hands will burn on contact.
-Quality isn't quite up to par with Lego, I suppose (though I've had no problems to speak of).
-The ball joints on the USNC Wolverine that hold the missile pods aren't really compatible with Lego.
-While the handheld weapons are nice, there aren't too many to choose from. Especially since the M7 submachinegun can't be held properly, even by a megafig (it's got this obnoxiously placed butt), and the flamethrowers, while they are awesome and look beautiful mounted on a hardsuit, aren't really minifig-compatible.
Overall, I recommend that you buy at least one or two sets to try out. I really liked the Brute Chopper (it has some nice detail pieces that Lego doesn't make, such as the double-sided studs 2x2, and is the cheapest set to include a chaingun), the Scorpion Tank (four treads, an interesting if cumbersome piece for the main gun, lots of nice decals, a custom hatch, and custom tread covers), and the Warthog (first, it's just a cool vehicle, but it also comes with a chaingun, some cool front-hook pieces, and some custom pieces with the Covenant turret, as well as some bullet hole and scorch-mark stickers).
I made some cool MOCs with pieces from the above sets, I'll post them later in the Armory section after that particular army is complete.

Again, most of my brix happen to be Nega-Blox.

Huh?

I don't mind trimming with a scalpel. Variety is not an issue either.
