Yes, but it's harder for the owner to maintain, and has a much higher chance of jamming or backfiring and asploding all the ammo, killing him instantly. Also much harder to aim at weak armour points on tanks, as well as being heavier and requiring more ammo to carry along, mst likely requiring more than one person to carry it.

For! The AK-47 is one of if not the greatest gun in the world. Not only does it have large caliber bullet, but it has semi-decent range, and excellent reliability. There are stories of them being buried the guns being buried in a river for 6 months, then being dug up, had fresh magazines slapped in, and pew pewing away.
