You would think these would be fairly cheap - but LDD roughly doubles the price of everything you build, which is a bitch, and I distrust bricklink - I've never been able to put my finger on why.Warhead wrote:These are really well done and should be fairly inexpensive to make (HINT! HINT!), especially when you consider the cost of a full scale ship, which are still fun to make but not cheap or easy to do.
I like your ideas for these ships, the battleships most of all, the nose is my favourite bit. The Escorts remind me of Necron Warbarques but beleive me that's not a bad thing.
Now you need an enemy fleet to do battle with.
I'll probably hit "Pick a brick" with a shopping list and see how many I can get . . . but It'll be a while until my next student loan is through, and I have the family/other commitments to look after.
As for facing an enemy fleet, I guess I'm stuck to forum battles - either with someone else hosting or LDD . . . until such point as I have monies to buy bulk legos.
Oh yeah - and something else after earlier.
- SYCTHIAN RIGEL KENTAURUS MILITARY CATALOUGES -
- CAPITOL SHIP CLASS - SUPER HEAVY BATTLESHIP -
- EMPEROR CLASS SUPER HEAVY BATTLESHIP -
Only five of these ships exist throughout the entire Scythian empire, and they represent the pinnacle of Scythian ship engineering. Based heavily off of the Monarch battleship hull, but with an antimatter generator well over three times the size, with an equal jump in power generation. Throughout the ship, multiple additional hull braces where installed and then considerable resources where poured into widening the rear half of the ship - and four additional quad laser turrets where mounted - doubling the original vessels capability in combat.

On top of this, the armour of the Emperor has been thickened through the additional hull bracing, bringing the total armour from 7 metres to 10 metres, adding additional ablative, ballistic and kinetic gel layers to the new hull armour. On top of this, an additional (but redundant) shield generator has been installed, projecting a secondary shield just a few metres behind the first.

Last but not least, the original compliment of turreted heavy lasers has been doubled - making these vessels a monsterous powerhouse in the battlefield. These vessels share the same "Kill zones" as their Monarch class ancestors.
The five "Emperor" Class vessels in service are as follows -
"The Fist Of Scythia" Stationed at the Scythian homeworld. (The centre of the Scythian empire)
"Mantorok" Stationed at Rigel Kentaurus shipyards. (The sector command for the Scythian North rim worlds)
"Merciless" Stationed at Waypoint sector command. (The sector command for the Scythian East rim worlds)
"Zelotath" Stationed at Mousetrap shipyards. (The sector command for the Scythian South rim worlds)
"Relentless" Stationed at Cerberus sector command. (The sector command for the Scythian East rim worlds)
Plans are in motion for an additional two Emperor class ships to be produced, for two mobile fleets to patrol the Scythian borders - however, the funding has since been diverted into research projects into new destroyer class vessels and more power efficient antimatter generators.
As always, Comments and criticism is much appreciated!
