Post by fredde » Fri Jun 11, 2010 2:44 pm

This is the strider light mech it is mostly used for crowd control and is equipped with two plasma cannons and a laser cannon(riots can be quite erm....violent)

Image

on the back is a robot arm used to drag unconscious or injured civilians away from the riot area

Image
here is how it opens first the yellov stripes and the flaps folds down

Image
then the "doors"

Image
then the whole front unfurls

Image
and the driver can step out

Image
attempts with alternate pilots have been....unsuccesful but lulzy

I really like this, great use of the flags, but how are the legs? It looks weak at certain points....

also roc77 the legs look a little weak but they are actually quite sturdy they can easily hold up the walker and the mech inside

Pretty cool, I've always loved riot control units. The legs could use some improvement, but they're not a big deal.

The pic with the buzzard driving it made me lol. :D

I speak from the heart when I say that this is the best one-man light vehicle of any sort that I have ever seen.

That's great. You know, we get all of these n00bs that stick around and act all high and mighty for months but all of the really awesome people such as yourself never seem to stay for long.

No, it's not you at all, It's their weak parent's fault for getting to gether and creating such a n00bish offspring.

You have some epic skills with small mecha, oh and of course, when people start wanting freedom and equality in your iron fisted regime, you plasma cannon them  sometimes water cannons, smoke and rubber bullets just don't do the trick!

Seriously though, great build, cockpit is ftw!

Speaking as a parent I blame the n00bs. Parents can only guide and encourage. Kids are mostly n00bish as a pre-setting, I believe it starts around school age. They have to want to be better and make themselves learn. Social interaction between n00bs seems to prevent this or at least retard the process.
