The minifgures are hard to find here in NZ. So, when I found one of the outlets of The Warehouse that had a couple of boxes of them, I kind went a bit mad... Here’s what I bought over the last three weeks

Was hoping for a few more zombies, but you can never have too many ninjas... (or spacemen for that matter...)

At $5 each, I was slightly shocked at how much I have spent (and that’s in addition to the Space Police sets I’ve been buying up as they are on special at the mo... - thank goodness I work full time).

Actually $5 is cheap - I saw some in Toyworld last week for $6 each...

Yeah, NZ is kind of the armpit of the world when it comes to the release of... well, anything. We get it later than anyone else, and it costs more - and that's if we get it down here at all!

Just got my first set of minifigs. I got the spaceman, native, and scuba diver. The scuba diver was a bit of a disappointment, but the spaceman is super cool.

Not sure how many of you guys got the news but Dr.X, one of if not the best builder we have here on the forums said that he was done with Lego on his flikr account here. He also said he was selling a bunch of the old stuff, and to make a long and boring story a bit shorter I ended up getting this form him.

Hell yes I am going to keep it intact, in fact I plan on building a few more of them. Dr.X was kind enough to take about 8 pics of it taken apart in case it brakes in the process of shipping so if i ever do take it apart down the road i will still have them reference.

That's good at least. Reading the comments, it looks like he's put a good bit of his lego in storage and is just selling the rest for space.

Sounds like your classic example of a Dark Age to me.

You know, I tried a wing design like that once, but then I got lazy and made it in plates. To compensate for my failure I made the wingspan huge.

Oh, and while I like Dr. X's junk, I have a thing about only touching my own. More power to me, I guess.
