This is the artillery variant of the ever so versatile buzzard series of minimecha this variant is equipped with two gauss cannons and a pair of chainguns for dealing with infantry.

notice the large feet which is invaluable when needing a steady firing platform.

oh noes they can stand on one leg we`re doomed!

chainguns in the torso for shooting pesky infantry.

do you feel lucky punk?

a firing line shooting at night.
those gauss cannons are loaded with explosive warheads which can be devastating for everything from infantry to medium tanks
(also these guys were made long before the cyclone vt i just didnt photgraph them and post them until now)
well thats all folks

(now i just need to redo the entire hangar bay of my SHIP (my cult enjoys large platforms like baseplates with halfway constructed supports

))

I still can't wait for that SHIP, with stuff like this already it's going to be ridiculous.

well a little but the shells are propelled with magnets so the recoil isn't as bad plus these guys have an internal inertial dampener system which is essentially a device that..well...dampens inertia I have no idea how but theres propably a`lot of technobabble involved.
EDIT:spelling

Yea lol. Call me a nerd if you want, but I think some times its kind of fun to try to think of how these kind of things would actually work.

Behold the majesty of half-thought physics!
The guns are made to be recoilless by transferring the force, through a series of thin tubes, to power the legs of the mech, or, should the officer allow it, to the seat of the cockpit, thusly delivering a reminder to shoot faster.

well after some thinking i think that the best way to reduce recoil is to simply fire the jet engines (besides the legs) in the opposite direction of the gun power shouldn't be a problem since the fusionreactor inside
also nice suggestion keldoclock but there is no cockpit in this little mech its completely robotic.

While I agree it is sometimes fun to Psudo-Science how things work, it is also sometimes a good idea to just say 'It just works" and leave it at that.
EDIT: Fixed Spelling Error.

Did you mean to say "It just works"?
