Well, currently both the USA and the FELC have one, so I'm rather indecisive over who to give it to.

Or not.

Nah, we'll see what comes up.

Roll a 1d2

On a 1 it's a FELC type-69 battlesuit

On a 2, it's a United Systems Alliance Emancipator-class power armor.

Actually, I'd love to see the innards.

You've seen it before and it still puts a smile on your face.

I guess I'll have to re-post this whenever Warhead gets grumpy :)

You'd do better just taping it to the inside of my eyelids then. I bought three of these brown bushes since seeing that first post... for no reason, honest. :D

Nah, you still can't really tell what's going on in any of them. I mean I know what's going on obviously, but if I slapped one of those photos down in front of a random person and asked them to tell me what was going on, I don't think they'd be able to.

The first two photos still have the most usable bits. One has what is very obviously a mechanic, and the other has what's very obviously a mech standing on a crutch. If I used them together, I think everyone would be able to reconstruct that sequence of events.

Well hell, I might end up using them both. I'd rather do it all in one picture, but I'll look at it more later and see if it can work with two.

The photography and scene composition are nice on yours, but the mech has such a black and chaotic silhouette, and there's so much going on in the scene, that it'll just turn into a visual scribble if I shrink the images down.

The image that reads the best is the one that shows the least - in the closeup of the mechanik welding a plate in front of the pilot's face, you still can't tell what the mech is very well, but you can definitely tell that that's a mechanik and that he's welding a plate in front of a pilot's face. So that's a funny little vignette moment by itself, I can use that one.

Hrm. The chaoism in the disassembly vig was based on your comment about "middle of some hot brikwar action", but the all black mech prolly wasn't the best choice of a focus. Glad you could use one of them.

Just a quick note to myself to dig through the Why Us battle photos later - MrBlobJr has got some nicely-staged little vignettes:

One of these days I really have to just sit down and mine through all the forum battle threads one by one.
