Trivial Nerd Fight - Star Wars Edition

Post by RagnarokRose » Tue Sep 14, 2010 7:13 pm

Those who consider themselves to be Star Wars Nerds can participate in this game. Two rules:

You have to be a Nerd

and

You must not simply Google the answer. Of course, I have no way of knowing how you would arrive at the answer. Just know that you are an insufferable poser.

First to ten points wins. I'll start with an easy one- What was the name of Han Solo's ship? Post another one once you answer this one.

Silvadream: 2 points and an insufferable tard
Darshino: 2 point and a man'do'rk
Snakemittens: 1 point with actual movie trivia
Stubby: 1 point (it's his old buddy Darklighter, by the way)
Warhead: 1 point and a scruffy nerf-herding reader of lore
Candlejack: 1 point and confused over the difference between space and water
Arkbrik: 1 point {*Flagged for possible Sith connections*}
Daniel: 1 point and clueless
Ross_Varn: 0 points and Grand Moff Troll of this thread.

Game won by: Ross_Varn
Game lost by: Darshino
Honorable Mention: Silvadream: for actually playing the game

GAME OVER, THANKS FOR PLAYING

...eh, yeah, screw you.

NOTE: Trivia must hail from the movies, cannot be non-canon or Expanded Universe. And if you pull a Silva, I will personally keelhaul you.

Darth Sidious. Palpatine was a fake name.

Sooooo... Man, most of my knowledge was on the EU!!

Hmm, okay... What is the name of the metal used in Boba Fett's armor? (I think that counts as in-movie, and yes, I can't think of anything that some random person doesn't already know)

If that counts as pulling a Silva, then, what's Leia's adopted last name?

Organa.

How do Luke, Han, Leia, and Chewbacca escape from the Empire's scanning team when they scan the Millenium Falcon?

They hide in compartments used for smuggling.

In Episode IV, what is the last name of the character Luke is surprised to see when he goes to Tosche Station?

That was just his callsign, his actual name was never revealed. The left wingman was a human named Mithel, callsign "Mauler."

Well, I called it on the Mauler thing.

Also, is anyone gonna answer my epic Fett question? Any Mando fan would know.

you're thinking of DS-61-2 or -3. It stands for Death Star squadron 61, fighter Black Two (or Three, since I can't remember which was which). Darth Vader was (at the time) DS-61-1.

So much nerd so little ammo!

What was Han Solos vocation and reason for leaving it to become a smuggler Pilot? [It was in some of the movie info blah that went on after New Hope first time round].

I googled this just to get you to shut up! It's duraplast, or Mandalorian iron.

Imperial Officer, he left when he saved Chewie.

Over the course of their careers, how many people did Rebel Troopers Tag and Bink get killed?

Name the one pilot to take part in the destruction of both death stars and survive.

Also, what model of starship was responsible for sinking the Super Star Destroyer, Executor?

A-Wing interceptor. It crashed through the bridge and caused the ship to crash into the DSII, I believe.
