Ingens Assault Walker

Post by SnakeMittens » Mon Oct 25, 2010 7:27 pm

This creature belongs to the Turba section of the Tenebras.

Image
Those big legs are good for crushing stuff!

Image
At the top are the 4 main 3 inch cannons. You can also see a retracted proboscis. More about that later.

Image
Not much here.

Image
Here you can see the 4 eyes of the Ingens. The big one is the main eye, and the 3 smaller eyes do other things. The two small eyes to the sides coordinate the mandibles, while the front one is a decoy, instead allowing the Ingens to fire anti-infantry lasers.

Image
Here the Ingens is preparing to capture a victim.

Image
It has captured its victim and is ready to feed.

Image
The proboscis extends and penetrates the victim.

Image
Every time the Ingens does this, it gets the equivalent of an Almighty Benny to use in either a damage or armor roll. Hey- STOP BLEEDING ON MY BACKDROP!!!

Stats
3d10 (5d6) Armor
9" Move
1d10 Skill
Multidexterity- 2 actions and movement phase
Feed- Use:6, Gets an extra 1d6 to use in either damage or armor, kills victim after 1 turn.
Eye Blast- 6" Range, Use:3,1d6+2 Damage
Cannon (4)- 12" Range, Use:6,3d6 Damage
Sharp Edges- Can cut minifigs in half with hind legs or disembowel them with Spiky bits on fore legs, Use:5 (CC)
Stomp- (CC) 2d6 Crash Damage, Use: 5[/u]
Tough to Kill- Has 3 HP.

Sweet build. I really like the proboscis. A couple things about the stats:

1. The armor value is too high. 4d10 is equivalent to a large space ship and 5d10 is like a Dungam Mobile Suit (Gundam). Even assuming this thing is as strong as a tank, that would only be 3d10.

2. Skill can't be multiple dice. You can't roll a 1 on skill with two dice. Make is 1d12, which is extremely skillful (a god).

Fix'd
I only have d6's, so that's why I did the skill on d6's.

Looks great, but its to well armored and skilled. A beast who has the sole objective to just slaughter minifigs wouldn't be that bright, the doesn't count for us of course

3D10 is not high for armour. All of my tanks have 3D10 armour and they get blown up all the time.
Isn't that the point of brikwars?

Of course, probably because they have the right competition. But don't you agree that without any tank busting gear, these dudes would grind figs?
