Maybe this went right over my head, but:
Why are the Pilot's pockets stuffed with sushi?
Just in case he gets hungry while driving?
I said "no" to drugs, but they just wouldn't listen...

Yeah, but the "sugary snacks" are mentioned right on the ninja stat card. The sushi just seemed to come out of nowhere.

Hey yeah, that's really weird. Normally I don't sneak stuff like that in there unless I have a good reason, so it must have been something that seemed super funny at the time. But damned if I can remember now.

sushi does NOT smell bad.
only if it went bad, in wich case you should not eat it.
what I am wondering now though is how that sushi manages not to fall apart in his pockets.
