not really new info, though to our credit, we may be less motivated to make our shit so detailed because we our likely to destroy it all in a brikwar.

I've seen this before, there is no doubt that it's amazing, but piltogg is right, we build for Brikwar! The more detail & intricate it is the more fragile it is, I hate building anything that I have to worry about falling apart by just moving it. I've seen some great builders with great potential here, I'm sure given enough time & pieces they could build something just as amazing.

And if we built following such a tiny scale, minifigs would be out of the scene and explosions not that epic

I think this is an important point and agree with it. There is building MOC to show skill and building MOC to be used as figures in a war game. Different desires and thus different worry about design and detail IMO.

Brikwars Vehicle Building Process:
I haz a baseplate... now just how many weapons can I stick to this while still having room for a wheel or two and a control panel... Bahh, I'll fit the guy in somehow later on once the red Lego Builders Frenzied mist has cleared from my vision.

I have been trying to build more for function lately, but I still keep going bakc to clean lines and SNOT. I need to try and build more like you. You have thge most "Brikwarsy" vehicles of the lot in my opinion.

That's actually how I build most of my vehicles...
Anyway, I have a little brother, so I usually build my vehicles to withstand him getting a hold of them and trying to destroy them. Detail is always an afterthought for me.
Now that he is a little older though, I can focus on both at the same time a little more.
