question: is it too late too enter my army? in any case, heres my Desert Rangers.
the giant OT weapon the hero carries i call the OT Destroyer. the hero stands next to the Captain of the Desert Rangers. basically, anything with brikarms or a complex creation, at least in the Rangers, is either a sergeant, or a officer. Recently though, the Rangers made the move to all plasma weaponry using a complex internal replacement of firearms with plasma technology. They all carry the designation of M22A2-(Name of the gun here) example: M22A2-M4A1, M22A2-SAR, M22A2-MP5 etc. just for reference.

You gotta be patient, its not done yet, the only visible stuff is a turret tower, the bunkers and the blast doors, but Im sure Warhead will build alot more deadly hazardstrebnos1 wrote:I could cry with jealousy and awe right now...
This is friggin' awesome! I love the flashy colors and the minifigs, awesome as always!
Though, I'm not seeing much in the way of air defenses, seems like a good bombing run could do some serious damage.

Ok, here's what I was thinking.
The battle can be run in separate stages, acts if you will. Each act has certain objectives and uses certain parts of the Fortress and may have limits or restrictions on troops or reinforcements etc. Each Stage lasts a pre-determined amount of turns each.
Each act will have different players, surviving players or key players will be prevalent throughout most acts.
Stage 1: Panic - The Invasion is unleashed and as the Gamma Corps prepares it's defences the populous seek shelter from the orbital deluge and roving Immortal Trooper landing parties. Immortal Troops on Death Buggies race to intercept and kill as many fleeing factions as they can before the reach the walls of Fico.
Players: (most of these guys have infrequently on or not here anymore).
Elmagnifico - Gamma Corp (A few guards on the wall with reinforcements).
Silent Sig-Fig - USA (His entire faction outside the wall trying to reach safety)
Massam - Post Apoc Survivors (All the same units in ZZD with others trying to reach safety as are the USA troopers).
Unknown - Immortal Troopers in Death Buggies
End Turn: Fico Defenders get to roll for all casualties inside Fico on a D6. 1-3 = KIA. 4-5 = Serious Wound Hospitalised. 6 = Light Wound Ready for action.
Stage 2: The Wall - After suitable orbital bombardment the Immortal send in the first wave. The Forlorn Hope, supported by Immortal Aircraft.
Players:
Elmagnifico - Gamma Corp - No troop restrictions but fort and weapon defences are damaged.
Silent Sig-Fig - USA
Massam - Post Apoc Survivors
Reinforcements: ShadowScythe - (Scythian Marine Drop Pod Landing)
Piltogg - Akkadians with Siege Engines
RoC - 45th Union with Armoured Support
End Turn: Fico Defenders get to roll for all casualties inside Fico on a D6. 1-3 = KIA. 4-5 = Serious Wound Hospitalised. 6 = Light Wound Ready for action.
Stage 3: Foothold - The Immortals begin to capitalise on the few gains made in the first wave. They send in the second wave. The defenders go toe to toe with Immortal Maniacs and the remains of the Akkadians and 45th Union troops within the fortress walls. The Gladiator Slaves escape and fight for their freedom, and generally get in the way.
Stage 4: Storming the Palace - With most of the Wall having fallen to the Immortals the Gamma Corps fall back to the Palace. The remains of the previous attacks are reinforced by Immortal Elites and a mighty Immortal Nightmare Siege Tank to force a breakthrough into the Palace.
Stage 5: End Game - The Palace has fallen, the slaughter begun, The Magnifico fights a delaying action trying to buy time to evacuate the remains of his troops to the last transport. Then Warhead arrives leading his personal guard and the Terrorkhan. (At this point Warhead and the Gamma Coprs Hero Codename: Aegis face off against each other in an ultimate duel. Warhead is beheaded by a Nova Sword, resulting in the splintering of his personality but the act costs Aegis his life none the less). Elmagnifico escapes with the remnants of his shattered Coprs.

Glad you think so as I'll be looking for people like you and Crazyhorse, Natalya, Silva, Applyon (...man! I can't list you bloody all, you know who you are) and the other old guard for player fodder.
EDIT: PedoBelugaTurd: Since you have this ability to be as obtuse and stupid as the most boneriffic, the most freakishly nerdy anorak geek in Games Workshop history I had better clear this point up now. Not you.
