Alejandro's Legion - GeneralofDeath

The assassins blocked off the bridge, confident this situation would allow them to use their skills to overcome the enemy's numbers.

The javelineers started attacking the Bull Phalanx below.

This evoked a load of reaction fire from the crossbowmen, who had been waiting. The dice decided that all attacks were made at the same moment, so none were cancelled. Thus, the casualties...

One...

... and two of the javelineers dead despite the protection their fortifications gave. The third one managed to protect himself with his shield.

A phalanx below hit the ground with a javelin in his gut.

The lancers, lead by the cavalry commander, counter-charged the breakthrough the Bulls had forced.

The two phalanx in front were speared to death protecting their commander, who was also knocked away by the momentum of the charge. The phalanx prevented worse by bracing as one as their general flew into them. He was disrupted, but otherwise okay.

As missile troops prepared to fire, Alejandro shouted across the field to his javelineers: "Keep up the attack men! No matter how good their shield wall is, some of your attacks will always get through!"

Thus the remaining javelineers were blessed with another action, and carried on the assault.

Their general was proven right; two phalanx in the back of the formation were killed.
Magus Guild - Elmagnifico

"Winds of the North, aid us in cleansing our lands!" Queen Lara chanted, and a chilling, unnatural wind swept over the river.

The greater part of it was frozen, taking away the movement penalty it had caused. (I know having to walk on ice isn't really better, but
)

It also added some cover for some of the Kingdom's forces. This structure would serve as some cover against ranged attacks for the Urban Guard infantry behind it. (note: it doesn't obstruct them despite the fact it might look like it)

The ice also started creeping forth from the river to cover the Hitokiri's flank.

Sharlena buffed the cavalry's damage slightly, indicated by a red sphere above them.

The White Mage also attempted to help.

Crit fail! Nothing too bad but his weapon's no longer functional. Unless he repairs it.

The mages on the flyer settled for shooting Vladek's corpse, just to be sure, or possibly for fun.
White Dragon Knights - Appolyon

The dragons took to the air.

The first one flew closer to the keep and breathed fire on the cannon, but his initial damage roll just failed to beat the cannon's armour. (There were Falx with reaction actions in range but I barely remember they needed to have the dragon in their line of sight to act.) But wait a second, gunpowder and fire...

Lolwut. I get too good at rolling sixes a lot of the time.

That's right! Burn! The sailor and the nearest Telmarine were wiped out, the other was too far from the size 2 explosion to take damage, but was knocked back and disrupted.

"Yaaah!"

The dragon's charge knocked a Telmarine from the wall, and his armour didn't save him from the fall.

The dragon then tail-swiped a defender off the battlements. The other stood his ground. The initial damage wasn't enough to kill but...

The fall damage broke the Telmarine's neck.

There were more standing in the courtyard however, and they'd been given the order to fire...

The dragon was shot to death (again many crits); the dragon rider survived the fall but is disrupted.

"The wall's been weakened! Califax, lead the charge, sacrifice yourself if you must!"

The White Dragon Knights that were on foot charged and reached the wall, but couldn't quite make it on top of it yet.

Their leader Califax took his orders rather seriously and climbed to a rather precarious position... (his sprint left him without an action)

Sensing an attack of opportunity, Brockram ordered the charge.
"Yes! Strike while they have their backs to us!"
The officer united the squad, Sir Brockram made them more eager to make their attacks count (lower UR), allowing them to roll a lot of dice...

However they could've done better on their damage rolls, much better. Just one lancer and two horses bit the dust. Since Brockram's feat had been a critical succes, the Falx were also left without a chance to retaliate, for now. He then charged in and tried to hack down the stranded lancer, but the Falx soldier managed to block his attack.
(Stay tuned for more after I get the first round of Fords up.)

Just one question was the water elemental that came from the portal what my hero was trying to summon or no?

Scallywags - Ham

The riflemen lined up to fire on the scouts. One had to climb to higher ground to get in range.

One fell to reaction fire before he managed to fire.

The responsible scout got a faceful of musket as a reward.

The cannon was fired.

Despite the scatter die it was a head-on hit. The scout was obliterated.

The Scallywags, led by Angryface, burst into infernal singing.
When I come back from a mighty quest
I have no need for sleep or rest
I head to a tavern for a drink
And get so drunk I cannot think
A wench by my side and a jug of mead
These are the things that I most need
So I sit back and sing this song
And drink and party all night long
Hey! Hey!
I want more wenches
Hey! Hey!
More wenches and mead
Hey! Hey!
I want more wenches
Lots of wenches is what I need (lyrics by Alestorm)

This however didn't have the desired effect; the assassins only wanted to kill them harder to stop their singing.
Grim's Legion - RunsWithLegos

The swordsmen moved up and took the place of the halberdiers.

Two didn't make it; they fell to the Hitokiri's reactions. The remaining halberdiers had meanwhile picked themselves up and repositioned.

On the left flank the swordsmen damaged a horse and killed another. The riders were fine.

"Why do you fight? You cannot escape your deaths. You will all be horribly mutilated and made into ammo for our cannons for when we knock down your city's walls, and when that is done all your children will be cast into fiery pits and your womenfolk enslaved to see to our needs during our conquests. The men who aren't slaughtered will be enslaved and made to work(and so on)."
Grim's endless rant cast visions of destruction and despair in the Kingdom's forces' minds, resulting in a -1 skill mod for the next round for the regular troops.

The cavalry was ready to charge in case it would be necessary.

The heavy swordsmen failed to kill, the knights killed another in their counter.
Purple Mages - NPC

The Archon attempted to bestow extra actions upon the Hitokiri Elites. He didn't do too well and only managed to give 1 of them an extra action.

... so his partner in crime joined in. He did better and gave the other two Hitokiri another action to spend.

The Archon then heroic feat-teleported them onto the wall.

Though they didn't know the heck was going on, they instinctively attacked, killing two marines in cold blood.
"We already told you! We don't like guns!"

The final mage animated a corpse (animated, not raised) and used it to attack a swordsman, but it failed to kill.

Finally the Guardian charged, attacked, missed, heroic feated to get a retry and crit failed.

It got worse when I rolled a ton of crits for the counters, which killed the Titan. No luck for big guys so far.

I didn't get orders from MasterEcabob.
To cut a long story short: I'll only be able to do the next batch of turns next friday evening at its earliest 'cos my internet crashed. I was planning to at least finish the round this weekend and would've done so yesterday, but it wouldn't work out. Stuff always comes up when I'm hosting. (I'm now at my sister's place and will be working next week...)

First of all, apologies for the long wait!
Secret faction activated: Xalen! - Silverdream

Xalen appeared on the battlefield. Some battle. This should be ideal to exploring the depths of my newfound power...

"Is there no one on this battlefield strong enough to face me?!" he called out to no one in particular with an unnaturally loud voice.
The knowledge that Xalen was out to pick a fight with a worthy opponent diverted all heroes' attention, resulting in -1 to their skill rolls until Xalen started dueling someone.
Secret faction activated - Rednecks! - (I forgot)
In a remote corner of the Falx Republic are vast fields owned by the Rednecks. However since the Falx have been pushing their war efforts once more and enslaving people en masse from different worlds, the slaves have taken their place as laborers! Thus, they figured if they could shoot all the barbarians dead, the rest of the Falx wouldn't be able to enslave them, ending their problem.

"They took our jobs!"
"Derp derka derr!!"
"Ktt-trr!!"
But, who's leading them?

Who's that riding in the sun?

Who's the man with the itchy gun?

Who's the man who kills for fun?

Psycho Dad, Psycho dad, Psycho dad!

Psycho Dad then rushed up the wall, upgrading his gun to the range of a longbow. Son, Pa and Gramps were close behind.
Secret faction activated, Sir Pablo! - Robomonkey

Musketeer: "Sir! Our way is obstructed by battle, perhaps we should take the longer route?"

Pablo: "No delay, we'll just have to work ourselves a way through."

With that they advanced and fired on the Falx medium lancers, but failed to kill.

I'll just make a Kill Chart when everything's done, can't be bothered to do that now...
