The First Allied Assistant Skirmish Squadron --{HURT}--

Hey, guys! The Bricklink order arrived after a few days, and I got straight to assembly the moment it hit my doorstep. I built well into the evening, and finally found the time this afternoon to put together some photos for you guys. Here goes!

Here's the whole HURT force so far. Just a Skirmish group (I did afterall only have enough money to buy so many LEGOs, and this isn't including weaponry), but I feel like they turned out fairly well. Need to make a new order soon for heads. Shwn here are also Sgt. Bane, a Face medic, and an early prototype hardsuit in the back.

Here are the unarmed generic troop figs. Nothing special.

Here's the revamped hovertank, now with 100% more vent pieces, and no more idiotic long red column pieces.

The AP9800 Assault Hardsuits. Slow moving walk speed due to heavy armor, but boosters powerful enough to carry them quite fast over short distances, making them an ideal close-quarters, city-fighting asset.

They carry T45-Series Multi-Cell Shotguns.

An action shot of the whole Armored Task Force as it stands at the moment. Come Summer (and a Summer job), I'll make more Bricklink orders in order to build myself some tanks and Fast Assault vehicles. Maybe even an STD!

Best units you've done to date, you stuff keeps getting better and better each post. The snub nosed sho(r)tguns are very cool and the hardsuits immense!

These guys are epic, I love the power-armored troops and their weapons. Only complaint: those wedges sticking out from the sides of the hovertank, in back, still don't look so good. They ruin the otherwise sleek look.

Does the hovertank hold a person under the canopy? Here I thought it was just a droid.

Kickass! Nice troops and I really like the hovertank, it's a great idea for some quick support for the troops. The hardsuits are great and you have built a squad, I'm in awe. Good pics too

Thanks for all the feedback, guys! I'm glad you liked it. Apparently having 1). Money and 2). a Plan is a very good thing.

Since I have a bunch of leftover pieces and don't want to do my Government homework, I've started the beginnings of the HURT microspace fleet as well. Be keeping an eye out for that!

FYI, blackdog, the hovertank does not fit a fig underneath the canopy, although I could probably wiggle one in there. Might redesign at some point to fit a fig or two.
