Ha ha, something like that. The Olive Drab Best-lock guys now have Chinese citizenship and will be getting headswaps/face decals shortly. The more odd looking of the Chinese clones will be getting decal transformations too. I'd like to get some more Brickarms helmets and I've got some Lego military style peaked caps coming in my next Bricklink order.

The US desert camo guys are going to get some custom work eventually, but I haven't made up my mind as to what yet.

I loath those bestlock soldiers so damn much. Hey... once you get a full couple of factions together... I'd be interesting in seeing how Lost Valley's garrisons would deal with a War of the Worlds.

The Best-lock guys are going to get Lego heads as soon as I can order some more up from Bricklink.

Another biplane has roared into the Lost Valley (perhaps I should start calling it the 'Found Valley'...?) and it's a complete contrast to Sly Bob's old pusher floatplane......

The only change I've made to Baron Von Barron's biplane is to fit it with one of the heavy chainsaw body based machine guns which several of my Steampunk vechicle make use of. The four rifles normally fitted as guns with this set are now the property of one of the Chinese patrols lurking in the valley.

I fitted new heads to the Best-lock olive drab guys and I found the best heads to use for Chinese were Chinese clone minifig heads (strange that). After some fiddling work on the inside of the Best-lock helmets with a sharp craft knife I even got them to fit nicely on the clone heads.

A long way better than the strange bland expressionless Best-lock heads IMHO and I get a nice squad of Chinese riflemen

Well I just thought it would be interesting to have the Chinese as one of the nations poking around in the Lost Valley. I've got essential conversion bits coming with a Bricklink order that will help to complete the look of the Chinese troops.

Btw what's a Piltogg? Do they come in a range of colours? What do they eat? Do they inhabit the jungles of Borneo?

Another idea for a faction is a bunch of cruel Belgians.

I think some of those tank battle films were from the Polish Campaign Silver. Interesting, - I'm reading Robert Kershaw's 'Tank Men' at the moment which is a warts and all history of tank warfare.

Belgians? - I'll have a look at that. (How does one make a minifig look like a Belgian I wonder?)

Alright, - I've spent some time clearing off the Lost Valley board and setting things up for a battle. I won't explain it all here because I think that would be bad and Natalya would make me sit in the naughty chair for having a battle in the wrong forum.

Very basic wide sweeping and slightly fuzzy photo of the valley. More photos and the senario will appear on the Forum Battles forum in a short while.
