I've spent the past few evenings working away on a new idea for a squad of Holy Warriors who have dedicated themselves to fighting evil creatures in the name of the Church.
It was a lot of fun customising the minifigs, painting and equipping them for their task. I found the priest's helmet in my spares box and it was so much like the traditional priest's hat I just had to use it.
The mother superior is standing in the middle, a young novice stands to her right and a professed sister to her left. I haven't thought up names for them all just as yet.
Don't worry about the Mega Bloks Ice dragon behind them, he's missing a leg and he's pretty harmless.

Love the crucifix.
Warhead beware...
Edit: Make it so that they can use their Rosaries as a boomarang style ranged attack.

Saints be praised, help has arrived to deal with these unholy undead.

Sorta' done.
Great work WN, they're looking Brikwars Badass. Pity you left out the ample cleavage, suspenders and no ones smoking, what's that about. You need to Google Nun more, I'm not sure you've researched this well enough yet.
Yeah, yeah, I know... I'm not getting Nun.
Names?..
http://generatorblog.blogspot.com/2008/05/nun-name.html The hell!.. I got "Sister Rozella Crapslang"
I'd like the Novice to be Sister Doubt and the Professed Sister to be Sister Guilt but I want to see at least a split in those skirts.

Thanks for the great feedback and comments everyone
At the moment I'm thinking about making a Holy Water spray device using a pair of scuba tanks and a hose nozzle. I had wondered about some of these as Holy Water hand grenades.......

Oops, must've just crossed posts
Now now Mr Warhead you should know by now that all my Nuns would be properly dressed in church approved habits.
There's a great deal of skill involved in wearing a habit properly and every part of it is there for a reason; - mostly to do with modesty and vocational/sacred intentions. The first time I wore a habit I would sweep allsorts of things over and off tables and shelves as I passed by. Like a windjammer in full sail I was with all that drapery until I learned better.
I'm still making up my mind about names. Traditional Nun names were based around saint's names and whether or not the order was a Marian order or not, - and other stuff which is fast becoming ancient history now. My own name is absolutely simple as anything and works fine for both traditional and modern day naming methods.
I'd like my nuns to have nice names

which I guess is totally predictable really.

Superb customs! The sword-turned-cross is so elegantly simple. Undead beware!
