Urban Dead

I made my way over to Havercroft. Most buildings are either heavyly barricaded or in ruins. The only items I found were two useless book. I have only earned 7 XP so far, but lost about half of my health. When will that change? What do I do wrong?

nothing, this is just a dificult game to get into. if you become a zed, just play along for a while and rack up some kills for when you revive. but if that kinda power gaming ain't your style then you could split your character, zed levels are for zed skills and vice versa.

try to get to a hospital, find some FAKs, heal up, and then heal survivors. A quick and easy way to gain a couple points of xp is if you attack survivors, then heal them (always save at least one FAK for yourself though).

nah, cuz your healing them for more than you attacked them, you're not trying to hurt them, you just feel like you need to- wait a second...never mind.

OK, I earn XP for smashing at barrikades. If I spent all my time doing that, with a 25% chance to hit for 1 XP and 2 AP per hour it will take me about 4 days to reach the next level. WTF?!?

preferably zombies. Go to a revive point, and use all your AP to attack other zeds, until you get revived, then make your way to a safehouse. You should get some nice XP, since the Zeds attacks are much more likely to hit early on in the game.

urgent news: Bean1 got caught outside with no AP (and no ammo, I barely hit at all

), and will probably be ripped limb from limb. I'm outside Shadwick right now, I've wounded a zed to within 10hp, if any of you want to take a crack at it... I'll head down to the revive point tomorrow when I can stand up

Hopefully now I can earn a little bit more xp while I have a chance to be reckless without retribution.

in other news, endersshadow (the character I'm playing outside of Paynerton) is nicely holed up and secure, with several FAKs to aid in anti-infection measures if he dies again. it's looking good.

EDIT: in the interest of avoiding a triple post. I managed to crawl back into safety, and will return to Shadwick (alive) tomorrow, and gather more ammunition for the coming fight against the hordes.
