So, there was talk of doing a Play-by-Post of DnD 4 in one of this threads somewhere. If anybody's still interested, I can get a game up and going on www.rpol.net and invite those who wanna play. I'd imagine we'd try to shot for 3 posts a week, maybe 5 tops.

I suggest RPoL becuase it had a lot of built-in things like character sheet spaces and a die roller. Unless we just made a couple threads here.

dibs on the rogue, and i think i might go human. i maaaay go tiefling.

also, nobody is allowed to pick eladrin. because they're lame. dragonborn is almost as bad, but they're actually somewhat fun to play.

As a reward for his slander, IV will be mugged by an Eladrin then eaten by a dragonborn during the first session.

i still stand by my statements. also, dragonborn aren't TERRIBLE. at least they're not from the feywild (moar like gaywild, amirite?)

Level 4 gives you:

-A few more powers
-2/3 feats
-Your first attribute advance
-Neat stuff
-Level 1 is... meh.

EDIT: I wouldn't worry toooo much about originality. It's DnD.

personally, i say they make better paladins, but fighter is fine too.

EDIT: we've got two strikers and a defender. if someone comes up for a 4th player, we still want a leader role (cleric or warlord) and a controller (only wizards in 4th ed.).

mostly fo the shadowjump and morphing and the fact that you are always supposed to start at lvl 11 because they are sooooo kickass.

what part of "4th edition" did you not read?

rakshaka or however they're spelled are no longer supported as character races (not even in the monster manual!).

if you're wanting to join, but don't want to be a human, elf, half-elf, eladrin, tiefling, dragonborn or a halfling, the back of the monster manual has a list of other creatures you can pick. they support orcs, gnomes, minotaurs, and even gnolls!
