My only gripes are the relative lack of weaponry (I made a mace out of that hub brick thingy and the black lightsaber blade), and the face that it's another damned catapult.

Trolls and dwarves!
I just bought the Dwarve's Mine Defender ( http://castle.lego.com/en-us/Products/Castle/7040.aspx ) and I gotta say I dig the new fantasy-oriented Castle set. The orcs, er, trolls, look pretty awesome, and the dwarf is neat.
