Dog, full of energy, (at this point he put the eggs he found to his bag, on a soft spot so they won't break) sprints to south-east, ready to climb a crag.

Dog walks of and the others are following like a herd of sheep. You leave the path and walke for quite some time. The crag didn't seem to be that far away when you looked at it from the village.
The smell of smoke in the air thickenes. Maybe there are people there making a fire?

*Sniff* Smoke. ....Fire! ....Humans! ...KIIIIILLL!

You charge through the brush-wood head first, swinging your weapons and roaring at the top of your lungs. You run into the clearing... but there is no human there. You need a few moments to cool down your blood before you can take a look around. You see that there is no trace of a camp fire. Instead everything in an area nearly half as big as the orc village is burnt. In the center of this area is a crater bigger than one of the stone houses. It's empty but for a small pool of water.
That's not the crag you where looking for. Obviously you went the wrong way.
