Hard Suit Questions

I need help with making hard suits in general. First I want to say I have like 2 of those grey T peices(if I could find them) Also I have very few of any round plates 2x2,tile,or those skid plate things,which limit what I can make. I also prefer Hard Suits that carry a full mini-fig. So based on that can anyone give me tips.

mess around, try to see where those t pieces are most useful.
after enough random something awesome will emerge.
that is how I build.

I can't really help you with anything else. but I'd start with what you think might be the hardest part.

headlight and jumper bricks are your friends, remember this while buildind hardsuits and you will do fine.

What is a "jumper" brick?

Two studs go in the bottaom, and only one stud is on top, in the middle.
