This is the Mastodon Superheavy Systems interdictions platform designed by the friendly folks at TSOC (The Synthetic Organic coalition) former AN (android nation)
It is designed for taking and holding entire starsystems with only a small escort.

To facilitate the destruction of enemy units The Mastodon is equipped with numerous weaponstations including:
30 Heavy railcannon turrets for antiship and orbital bombardment.
100 General purpose heavy infinite repeaters for anti-fighter and anti-ship operations
200+VLS cells capable of being loaded with everything from specops insertion pods to anti-matter MIRVs
3 Superheavy Raillance cannons for use against fleets and glassing
2 Centerline Hellbores for use against fleets and superdreadnaughts Produces a thermal bloom that cooks just about anything without combat armour or shields within a 2 kilometer area
USE WITH CAUTION!

The mastodon requires quite the amount of engines for normal operations and even then its painfully slow, luckily the weaponry and sensory equipment mounted on it is capable of engaging foes from extremely long ranges.


A tigershark SHDT and four Dogfish fighters provide a meager escort.

The mastodon was designed for volleyfiring to keep constant pressure on its foe that is why most of the ship is occupied by heatsinks and cooling equipment.

The Bridge where numerous "make it so`s" can be heard at any given time, ther is also a secondary bridge deep within the hull that can take over command of the ship if the primary bridge is destroyed or boarded.

Showing of the primary weaponry (funfact: Hellbores were outlawed due to a legislation regarding warcrime and turning civilans into burning radioactive heaps, TSOC however bypassed that legislation by classifying Hellbores as cooking equipment)

I normally am not a huge fan of LDD stuff, but I do like the detail you added with the addition of point defense guns.

This here is a SHRG-9000 super weapon, its sheer size takes about 50% of the ships internal capacity and nearly full power when operating. It can obliterate entire enemy fleets or cook you dinner.
